I like this guard, only 2 screws to put in. They can be tricky to get into an installation upside down, hot guard! Good vslue as the ceramic lamp holder is included. The catch could be a bit more secure. I also found it shorter than my Arcadia guard which meant the bottom grille gets very hot with a 150w CHT above it, could burn my snake’s nose if she gets too close!

Brilliant bit of kit. Very easy to install, sturdy and does what it says on the tin. My BP hasn’t tried to climb on it yet, but I’ve no concern if she does. I tested with the heat lamp on for a while and there was no excessive heat
