Stark Winter Work Gloves - Skiing, Snowmobiling, Construction, Mechanic Gloves (Medium, Black)

Title advertises this as mechanic gloves in addition to outdoor activities. Mostly snug fit but kind of stiff while flexing fingers. Fingertips have some space at the end which makes it impractical for handling small objects such as screws, nuts, and bolts. Touch screen material may need a light wash using just water. These gloves are nice for warmth but I will have to supplement this purchase with another pair of work gloves that can deal with situations requiring fingertip manipulation with enough warmth to keep my fingertips from going numb in cold and wet situations; perhaps I'm looking for the impossible.

I've been putting off this review until I had the chance to wear them in real Maine weather. I spent quite a bit of time comparing gloves before ordering these. It turns out that I made the right choice. They fit perfectly (large), very comfortable, warm in temperatures down to 8 degrees (but I expect they will be warm in temps colder), haven't been able to use them on the sled yet and judging from the way this winter is going, that won't happen til next winter. All in all, if your thinking about purchasing these, think no more, buy them. You won't be disappointed. Oh, one more thing, they are NOT made in China

The gloves were delivered as expected and fast! The quality seems very nice. I received 2 emails from the company selling them and I was quite impressed with their genuine interest in my satisfaction. These gloves have many uses that I didn't realize at first but learned from these emails so that's definitely a plus. I'm giving 4 stars for now only because they are a gift for my nephew for Christmas and once he opens them and tries them on I'll update. He has large hands so I ordered the XXL for him.

These gloves are really comfortable- I've been raking a lot and was so glad when they arrived- you do get warm hands from the padding, but the padding makes a huge difference in comfort. The only drawback is they are short- I got a medium and it does fit my fingers and the padding just covers the bottom edge of my palm- when it's cold, I have to work at getting the cuff under my sleeve. Not a big negative though.

Love these gloves, they keep my hands warm while still being able to manuever around. the tips of the gloves do not work with my smartphone unfortunately but I wouldn't be able to do much any how with them on. Try to prevent them from getting wet, as after a while they will start to get damp.

Love these gloves, exactly what I was looking for; thin, flexible and warm. Be careful on sizing, though. My hand is at 10-1/4" which is an XL on their chart but they fit a little tight. I got them for shoveling snow so I can deal with it for a couple of days per year. I'm a prime member so I could send them back for free but not worth it, they fit well enough.

My husband has pretty big paws and had a hard time finding gloves that not only fit well but keep his fingers warm. While he hasn't worn them yet for a long period of time in the freezing cold, he like the fit and the material the gloves are made of. I tried them on and was amazed at how quickly they warmed my hand.

I was actually very surprised when I got these. The fit was perfect based on the size chart and others posts. And this past weekend in the Midwest temp got down to below zero and my hands were still warm after being outside for about 20 minutes. My dissatisfaction is this...the first week they worked well enough on my iPhone to do what I needed. Now, they don't. The index and thumb finger are not dirty nor have they been in contact with any type of oil or anything like that.
