Simple is best
What can I say, lov this brand! Watch looks good, big face, like I like, can see well. Lights up when you push button. Works great, worth the price. Only one thing that I don't care for is the band, it's not made as well as I have got from them before. So think I will be changing that soon. Nice watch that looks great and works well, very nice to look and see time, not like a digital watch where your shaking your arm to see time!!! So am happy with my purchase. And would buy again.

Timex Standard High Quality....but, Oh well. The new one I bought, the Indiglo went out in 60 days.
The Quality was exactly the standard that timex set for the most affordable, most durable, most useful, most attractive watches in the industry. I've owned this one since 2022. I have to say it's all of the above WITH ONE EXCEPTION: The Indiglo never worked from the moment I took it out of the box. I didn't think anything of it. I thought it was another diluted standard brought on by the corporate enshitification so pominent in the world today. I WAS WRONG! For under 35$, who cares? It's 2025 and I'm buying another one. I put this thing through hell. I work on Industrial Refrigeration and Mechanical Infrastructure. I'm rough on everything I own and my hands and arms are exposed to 130 degree F Condesner relief temps regularly, 170 degree F Asphalt Equipment Pads (on which I stand for hours in the direct sunlight) in 115 degree F Ambient air temps all while keeping track of timing of sequences of operations, using My Timex as my number-one tool for keeping track of that kinda stuff. Diagnosis would not happen without it. Accuracy: Hmm. a little behind the iphone weekly or monthly; loses about 5 minutes a month? maybe less. Either way, when I was trying to set it to the current time the other day, I pulled the crown right out of the watch to try and set the time. I put it back in and committed to purchasing another one. The crown is still in there, the watch still is keeping time (more slowly) and I just can't update the time it has lost. So in a month or so from now, it will be too far behind the actual time to be useful for me. Very well worth the cost! UPDATE: two months after purchasing the new watch, the indiglo stopped working when I needed in my sleep last night. I have contacted timex. I'll update this review once I get a robo-response from them.

Great buy, you can't dislike this watch.
Note: If it doesn't work initially out of the box put it on a window sill for 10-15 minutes and it should begin to tick. Expensive watches are great and so is this watch. The funny part about Timex watches is that I never hesitate to buy one I like because they just never die. Although I tend to by some more pricey stuff these days my first watch was a Timex I got for Christmas in second grade, it still works, that was 30 years ago and it went through the ringer. None of my Timex's have ever stopped (excluding batteries obv). I bought a Nato strap for this because I assumed for $50ish bucks the leather one would be sub-par. Not so, it was nice and I'll use it again at some point, comfortable out of the box too. A small downside is you will need a strap tool to remove it. Solar powered, that speaks for itself which is awesome at the price point. The styling is honestly one of the nicest looking field watches I've seen. Basic, legible, functional, exactly what a field watch should be. I'm not a stickler for incredible lume on a watch but for the price point I couldn't believe it. If you walk outside, even with clouds and charges up and you can see it just walking inside, it lasts for hours. It's the best I have on any watch which is both impressive and frustrating at one since some of them are 10-15 times the price. I've been wearing it 75% of the time since I got it 3 weeks ago, gotten multiple complements. I got the Annefit strap on Amazon, it's great but I have a 7.5 inch wrist and still have extra slack that stick out so trim it or something or it will look foolish.

Fine but flawed. Good but not great.
Overall a nice watch. You get solar power in a Timex 40mm field watch format at a good price. You give up Indiglo backlighting for the solar option. The seconds hand is not colored right and blends into the background of the dial being almost the same color but without any contrast on the hand or tip. The hour and minute hands are adequately lumed for casual use in the dark. The older you get the harder they will be to see. The finish is gray or gunmetal coated, not brushed or bead-blasted. 40mm is a good compromise case size for those with large or small wrists. The crystal is mineral glass which is middle of the road but expected for a $50-$75 watch. The tan leather strap color will be a matter of personal choice. I think it’s too light colored for a field watch and will quickly stain, but was soft and comfortable to wear. Tan or khaki synthetic materials tend to be more resistant to stains and water damage and easier to clean or wash. I think the case size and shape will fit the majority of owners very well, the solar charging is convenient, and the style is bland but inoffensive and traditional.

One of the best watches ever
I am a watch collector. I own more than 120 watches of all categories and price levels. This watch is one of the best watches i own for many reasons! Firstly its beautiful field watch. The dial is 40 mm in black/dark grey chalked colour. The indiglo dial is amazing in the night or in dark areas. The accuracy is remarkable for this price range. The leather Strap is a bit stiff at the beginning but for sure very good quality. The colour of the case (matte grey metal) is so beautiful that makes me smile every time i have it on my wrist. The only downside is that you can hear it in total silence, but i am used to it from my other vintage watches. The readability is maybe the best together with my Hamilton field watch that costs 20 times more. A watch for every day use ! I strongly recommend that piece of Timex!!

I researched, shopped, and this is THE watch I decided to buy! I LOVE IT!
It's been over 20 years that I have owned a watch. I'm tired of having to locate my cell phone just to check the time. I decided its time for a watch! So, I started researching and researching, reviewing reviews and truly spent lots of time deciding on what the perfect watch to buy would be. I considered expensive, inexpensive, Swiss made, non Swiss made and after deciding to find a solar, best for the money watch I purchased this watch! I researched so many watches at every price point and style. The great reviews, style and price point brought me to TIMEX. I decided as this is my first watch in years so best keep it budget. I was considering the Indiglo Timex as I have always loved to cool glow but I ran across the Solar Timex. To be clear you loose the indiglo option will ALL Solar Timex watches so its a trade off, do you want indiglo or solar power and no battery changes? My research suggest I may get a crazy amount of life out of this watch with the solar power. Im not one to take a watch in to get a battery replaced and as I understand the more you use the indiglo the quicker I would need to change out a battery, Thats a no go for me so SOLAR TIMEX it is! The hands and numbers of this watch will glow after being in light but that glow fades quick, As far as the watch itself , I love the styling. My family loves the look. This watch is a blackish brass with a stainless back and a real lens so its a great watch for the money that I expect will last me years! My fist thought was I wanted a green band watch and may buy a green band one day but the color of this band looks better on me than in the pictures, the color is growing on me. The watch is somewhat larger that I expected on my medium size male wrist but I don't think I would want a smaller watch after a few days of ownership. The date is small for my old eyes but thats not a deal breaker at all. I think this is a very classy sporty everyday looking non fancy watch and solar is the way to go! Who wants to take a watch to a shop to have the battery changed every few years? Im very happy my extensive research made me choose this watch. I'm as happy with this watch as I would be with one of those mega expensive import jobs as this thing looks and feels fantastic! I feel I got way more than I paid for buying this watch. When I was considering expensive I decided with the fact it's been years that I have used a watch I better make sure a watch on my arm won't bother me. I'm happy to report this is a very comfortable watch and I see zero need to spend more as this is the perfect price point of you get a good solar watch and looks good and feels good so I have no real need for anything more premium. With this watch I get a known name brand quartz movement thats solar and based on some reviews I hope to perhaps get 5-10 years or more life out of this watch and solar battery. I needed the stainless steel back and I wanted a leather band. I find I am actually proud of my new watch! Anyone remember the 1950's saying... “ TIMEX, It takes a Licking and Keeps on Ticking”

Good looking watch with a rugged look and feel.
I haven't been wearing watches for several years but when I saw this I just had to have it. In a world where there are clocks on our phones, our tablets, our laptops and computers I asked myself why do I need a watch? I pretty much summed it up as this. Wearing a watch is a classy, manly thing and I really did miss wearing a watch everyday. So let's start again with a new watch. Besides, I now don't find myself digging in my pocket for my phone when someone asks me what time is it or when I need to look to see if my if I am running on time to a secret meeting with another covert operative for beers. This Timex has a classic design, with a rugged looking band that appears to be easily replaced down the road. I've only had it less than a week. But it feels like I have been wearing it for much longer than 5 days. I barely notice this on my wrist until I see it peeking out from my shirt sleeve or when I need to check the time. It has a solid feel to it but it doesn't feel heavy or cumbersome. I used to have a bad habit of catching watches on door frames while walking through doorways but I have yet to have this issue with this watch. Perhaps that might change when short sleeve weather comes around? The canvas style band is something new to me and I will have to get used to latching it. With one hole the band is too loose on my wrist and the next hole the band is almost too tight. I do not fault the watch for that small issue. After all, we are all built differently. Will the band stretch in time like my previous watches with leather bands or will it retain its current size? Perhaps in a few weeks or months I will know the answer to that question. As far as looks are concerned it has a classic military look and a rugged feel but by no means does it look like I'm trying to be tacticool. It is classic enough to be worn in the office, casually or in the park or at the beach. You could probably dress this up with a nice leather band for more formal office occasions or situations. But that is just a guess. It was instantly noticed by a few guys at work the first day I wore it into the office. Could it be that they are used to seeing me without a watch or just that it had a nice appeal to it? My wife likes the way it looks on me too. In other words, she didn't dismiss it as some trendy accessory and had nice things to say about the price. What about the Indiglo? Well in the dark it is easily readable. In somewhat dim light the hands seem to reflect enough light they they blend into the background and can be hard to see. But it is easier read without the indiglo in those situations. I really like the yellow seconds hand too. not too bright and just subtle enough to stick out of the black background. Does it keep accurate time? Since I set it after opening the box it appears to keep accurate time. It matches time with my Citizen, Fossil watches as well as my iPhone. If it loses any time I have yet to notice. What about the loud ticking? I don't hear it unless I put the watch up to my ear then it makes an audible tick. I have yet to hear it sitting on the nightstand next to my bed or even while wearing it. I have yet to get it wet, sweaty, dirty or banged up. But give me time, it will happen, I assure you. We will see if it stands up to regular daily use after I give it a thorough going over. I think with the classic styling of this watch it will look just as good with nicks and scratches as it does brand new. I am sure to add pictures and a follow up review down the road. I really like this watch and hope it takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

Beautiful, elegant, comfortable
Excellent product, perfect watch for daily use and at the same time very elegant. It's strap is made of real leather, even smells nice when it's still new and the color combines perfect with the watch's font color. The watch is so comfortable. Useful for dark places cause the button has a light.

Saha saati tarzını sevenler için on numara
Tavsiye ediyorum.
