For this blend we have mixed compact wiry leaves of a premium Darjeeling with a top end clonal Assam tea with plenty of golden tips. Result is an exquisite brew that is smooth yet full-bodied. Deliciously rich malty flavors of the clonal Assam blend perfectly with this bright Darjeeling with tones of cinnamon and rare woods. The blend was perfected over several iterations to highlight woody, dark fruity notes of this Darjeeling tea with malty, spicy flavours adding to its crisp disposition. This is our first attempt at creating a blended tea and we are very pleased with this Regal Affaire!
