The Snowman: Easy Piano Suite

My daughter has been playing piano for a year and a half and can only play some of the right hand in this book so far. I took 10 years of piano lessons myself and was formerly an advanced student who was encouraged to major in piano in college, and even I find it slightly challenging, but it is fun to be able to play music from the movie.

I love the song, "The Snowman" and grew up listening to it as a child and watching the video. When I started taking piano lessons, I had a copy of the song for voice but it was too tricky to play so I bought this one and absolutely LOVE it! The song is just perfect for my level. I have been playing for two years, but am still a beginner. I only wish they had added more of the fingering on some of the notes as that would have been a bit more helpful.

I have enjoyed learning these pieces, so beautiful but not too hard, highly recommend!

It is a great, inspiring book. Howard Blake's own edition beautifully arranged and illustrated for his 6 year old son, easy enough for a 7 year old to perform especially the famous much loved song/tune--We're Walking in the Air
