Starbucks Decaf Ground Coffee, Caffe Verona, 12 OZ

With a mix of Starbuck's Columbia and Gevalia de-caf, we remained happy for a couple of years. Nothing bad happened with our Bunn coffee makers which have a reputation of the grounds overflowing. Yes, we have had that problem through the many years of us liking the Bunn drip coffee makers.The figuring out of the overflow problem takes a while! Are the paper filters to blame this time? Has the Starbuck's grind changed? Has the Gevalia grind changed? Is the coffee maker blasting out hot water too quickly now?So, as it is all but impossible to figure out, I finally did. It seems to have been a change in the Gevalia grind. As well, it is all but impossible to find Starbuck's House decaf! WHY??????So we substituted this Verona. We have had it in the past and so we fell back on this with our half and half mix of Starbuck's Columbia and half decaf of this. WOW! GREAT, deep flavor and NO overflow! The grind was right and the taste is deep and rounded and NOT bitter. Can't find Starbuck's House decaf? Try this. Yes, it tastes stronger, but it is NOT bitter! So you may like this even more. I do because when you have a cup of this, you have a cup of flavor!

You either love Starbucks or hate them. I used to work in their roasting plant and while I am not thrilled about some of their snowflake values, I got to admit they are very serious about making the best coffee there is. I know there are a lot of small independent roasters that do a good job but if it wasn't for Starbucks we would all be in the same Folgers/Maxwell house world we were in for the last several decades. and for a go to at home its very consistent and a damn fine cup of coffee.

The coffee arrived and was in a solid block inside the bag like it had gotten wet or humid and then dried to form a block. The bag itself was in bad shape. It does not appear to have been stored correctly. I had to toss the whole order.

good product but the cost has doubled from the last time i bought it. will not buy from this vendor again.

We like our coffee bold and this fits the requirement! I ordered from Amazon because Caffe Verona is not available in our area. It's good to know there's a place I can get it. Thanks, Amazon.

We had to cut back on caffeine, so decided to go to the best, because we love coffee. The decaf is just as bold without being bitter as the caffeinated. Love it.

I can’t get decaf at the grocery. This is so easy. I have ordered several times a d I’ll do it again
