For those unaware, "Expert" was a re-branding of Lavazza BLUE. Expert capsules are fully compatible with Lavazza BLUE machines. This is probably my favorite variety. It is a dark roast and you get a lot of flavors you might expect from a dark roast. It has an intoxicating aroma too. It develops a thick caramel colored crema and it has more body than a single shot capsule. It's certainly a rich and strong shot. It's also nice to be able to get a more reasonable size box of 36 instead of having to buy a 100 at a time with Lavazza BLUE. I buy these Intenso 2's every time they go on sale. If you have a Lavazza machine and haven't tried this yet you're missing out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ great taste *by on Reviewed in the United States October 14, 2026* awesome Lavazza taste ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love them *by on Reviewed in the United States September 2, 2026* I love these espresso pods. I’ve repurchased them countless times at this point. They’re extremely strong which I love, and I like that they’re double shot pods. Feels like the go a little longer of a ways than the single shot pods. These have a lot of caffeine which I love. ## Frequently Bought Together - Lavazza Expert Espresso Intenso Double Shot Capsules, Dark Roast, Arabica and Robusta Blend, Compatible with Lavazza Classy Machines (36 Capsules) - Lavazza BLUE Classy Mini Single Serve Espresso Coffee Machine LB 300, 5.3" x 13" x 10.2" 2 Coffee selections: simple touch controls, 1 programmable free dose and 1 pre-set - Lavazza Expert Espresso Decaf Capsules, Medium Roast, Arabica and Robusta Blend, Compatible with Lavazza Classy Machines (36 Capsules) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/228709043-expert-espresso-intenso-double-shot-capsules-dark-roast-arabica-robusta](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/228709043-expert-espresso-intenso-double-shot-capsules-dark-roast-arabica-robusta) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
