Fast, Affordable Meat Grinder
I've ground about 30 pounds of chicken and pork. It's a powerful machine for the price point and it is very easy to use.

NOT MADE IN US
Haven't used yet. NOT MADE IN USA LIKE IT SAYS. Only reason I bought it versus others made overseas and the problems people had with customer service and support.

Strong machine for grinding meat
This machine is powerful and can grind large amounts of meat pretty quickly. It's made well, fairly easy to clean, and pretty heavy. I like grinding my own meat for my 'famous' meatballs, it's nice being able to know what kind of beef and pork is going into my food. Happy with it almost a year and a half later of fairly regular use.

Compact size and superb performance.
I am an avid home cook and like functional kitchen equipment that allows me to do more things at home instead of buying things pre-made. There is nothing to be skeptical about here, it really does taste better grinding your own meat than buying it from the store. The unit is solid and not too heavy. It's easy to move around and has a relatively small footprint. When I disassemble it, I just pack it back into the box and put it in my pantry. You do get a number of accessories, so I put them inside a ziploc that I keep inside the box. I definitely recommend storing all the parts in something because there are a few small parts that you don't want to lose. You get a good plastic pusher that works well, as well as a number of grates and a few additional tips for sausage making. So far I have only been buying this to make ground beef, but it has done so very well. The unit is easy to assemble. After a few times putting it together, you'll get it down so you don't need to remember how to do it. There are a few small parts that have to be in a specific order, so its best to follow the instructions the first few uses til you get the hang of it. Another nice thing is that this machine isn't that loud. It's no quiet by any means, but it isn't unreasonably loud and I appreciate that when using it in my home. The large metal tray that holds the meat easily fits two pounds of meat and makes it easy to slide the meat into the machine. So far, I've had no issue with the machine getting stuck but it does have a reverse function if it happens. I have been purchasing value chuck steaks from the grocery store and have found that it tastes better and looks fresher than buying it pre-ground. I am very happy with how well it works and am surprised by how much I have been using it. I haven't been buying any ground beef since the meat I grind myself has been a big hit. I think this machine offers good value and any home cook will find this very useful.

Loud but effective
The media could not be loaded. It grinds up venison no problem however the disk with the holes in it has shown mild sings of rust after just one use and wash make sure to dry metals part well

Alpine Cuisine is always a good choice
It took about 20 minutes to assemble. The instructions are very thorough, and were very obviously translated to English or written by a non-native speaker. Some of the mistakes were hilarious, I highly recommend looking through the instruction booklet. Despite the strange way of phrasing things, I was able to understand all of the directions, and warnings, so it wasn’t a bad translation. As always, Alpine Cuisine produced a well made product that will last a long time and I’m happy to have it.

Great to grind…
I received the Color: Black (250W) option. This is a great home grinder for grinding meats, making sausages or kibbeh. The tray, tube, securing ring and auger are metal and the plates and blade are stainless steel. I’ve had a couple of grinders before and the tray and tube were plastic and they all cracked over time. That will not happen with this one. The others also had steel plates and blades that rusted, the ones on this will never rust. It’s nice to be able to grind any cut of meat that I choose, to one of three coarseness levels, not only what the market produces for sale. Think about having the ability to grind any beef or pork cuts, turkey, even chicken thighs! The quality isn’t unknown since you know what you put in to be ground. As with most similar appliances, its kind of noisy. It has a reverse switch for those occasions when something might get clogged.I wasn’t familiar with how to prepare kibbeh, though I had eaten it many times. This grinder includes a kibbeh attachment, but no recipe, to make forming the meatballs easier. I found some fun recipes online. The box includes the grinder body, the tray, feed tube with securing ring, auger, three plate sizes, one blade, a food pusher, a set of attachments for kibbeh, a sausage-making tube and a user guide. No recipes are included. The tray and tube and securing ring appear to be aluminum. The tray is fairly thin. I’m sure it will not break, but it might get distorted over time. All in all I’m looking forward to fun while cooking with this grinder and the many possibilities it offers. I hope this information has been helpful to you.
