5 stars for aesthetic and novelty factor. The squish is great as a stress relief toy, and they appear to bounce back into shape without damage thus far. 2 stars as actual pens, though. The ink tube falls out of the squishy shell very easily. I end up with ink all over my hands no matter how carefully I hold them. The tip also writes with a pretty scratchy feel, not smooth at all. Admittedly, I still love to see these on my desk even though I know I can't write with them. They bring personality to my cubicle, and I still get the occasional compliment on them. For the price, I don't regret my purchase.

Adorable product. I gave this as a gift and the child loved playing with them. Great idea to add on top of a gift for a little extra fun instead of a bow or in addition to a bow.
