Crucial RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR4 2666MHz CL19 Memory for Mac CT2K32G4S266M

I purchased memory from OWC for my 2020 iMac 27" twice, and each time the memory did not work. One set wouldn't allow my computer to turn on at all, and the next set caused my computer to reboot about 5 mins over and over. I was very frustrated, and decided to give the Crucial memory before giving up on upgrading. It installed in ~3 mins and has worked flawlessly with no reboots, no crashes, no issues at all. The iMac has never run better, and I'm relieved to have found a solid solution for a good price.

This was the last time I had a ram for Mac. It's still works like a horse. good times.

I do a lot of photo editing and working with large files can get cumbersome. I was running with a total of 64GB of ram (4x16GB) from another company but every once in a while my photo program would lock and I’d have to do a force quit. I ordered 128GB of Crucial ram (2 sets - 4x32GB chips). Installation was super easy, iMac was slightly slow on initial boot, but it’s started quickly every time since. No problems so far, large photo files have not been an issue. Very happy with Crucial!

I’ve been using Crucial RAM forever and needed to upgrade my family computer. This RAM has greatly improved performance and enabled an upgrade to MacOS 15 Sequoia. The annoying Apple pop up spamming me that my Mini’s memory was low is gone. Big applications can run no problem with large .PDFs open contemporaneously. I have an Intel Mac that was struggling with 16GB of RAM. Looked into buying a Apple silicone mac mini but could not justify the cost of one that supported 3 monitors. Installation is simple with the right bit and now the Mac Mini is alive. There are some weird issues with Chrome and Bluetooth but only does it (shutters) maybe once a month and a restart corrects it.

This RAM gave a new purpose to my Asus GL702VSK. 64GB with 2667MHz exactly as described.

I had already installed two 32Gb memory chips after buying my computer in addition to the two original 4Gb chips that came with the 2020 iMac I have had for a year. Decided to go ahead and install the Crucial RAM 64Gb Kit to give me a full 128Gb of RAM. It was a good buy for the price and with all the software I run concurrently for my photography I think my machine will run smoothly! The installation is very easy...just followed the video available on the product page.

These were bought to upgrade the memory of a 2020 27" iMac from 8gb to 64gb. I decided to remove the existing memory as I wasn't sure about compatibility with speed and thought an extra 8gb is not going to make a lot difference since I'm sticking 64gb in. There is an easy to remove cover at the back of the iMac, a couple of springy clips allow you to move the memory carriage into an accessible position. The old memory just lifts out and the new memory slotted in the same place. It took longer to remove all the connections at the back of the computer than it did to replace the memory modules. If you need to check what memory is in your iMac click on the Apple (top Left), select About then select memory and a graphic shows you what memory modules you have and which slot they are in. Slots 1 & 3, and slots 2 & 4 are paired and need the same memory modules in each one of the pair, though 1 & 3 can have different RAM values from 2 & 4. So I put each of these two 32gb modules in slot 1 and slot 3. When I turned everything back on the iMac worked as if nothing had happened, but I ran a Photoshop test that was taking 4 minutes with 8gb RAM. It was now almost instant with the 64gb RAM upgrade, so I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Needed a ram upgrade, and needed it fast to work with a client on some heavy cad assemblies. This order was a life saver.
