Good tool.
It is very handy for hands free shooting,I think my personal opinion which is not big of deal. AF and shutter button should be one just like on camera. Press half way for lock focus and full press for take shoot. Prefomace, Value for money, Easy connectivity.Related to Battery: in Product Specifications stated remote take CR2 battery which is not right.Correct Prefferd battery is CR2032 or CR2025 can be used as well.

I love this thing!
I've used cable releases in the past, and I've also used the Camera Connect app on my phone as a remote release. I much prefer this to any of the others. The phone app has its place - it can do things this can't, like provide a remote view of whatever the sensor is seeing, allowing you to make adjustments as if you were doing them right in the camera, etc., but for just focusing and taking the shot without introducing camera movement, this is the best. I can slip it in my pocket, or attach the loop to my tripod or camera. It doesn't throw any light, so it doesn't interfere with astrophotography. It's so simple, I can find the button without looking. I've had no problems with the bluetooth connection, and I've used it with both my R7 and my R6II. If I lose mine, I'll be replacing it immediately.

Great remote!
I use this remote with my Canon R6 all the time in my studio. Shortly after I purchased this, it stopped working. I replaced the coin battery and still works great to this day. So, the original coin battery was not good. Otherwise, its a great remote!

Works Perfect With Canon EOS R7
I received this nifty remote this morning, and promptly paired it with my Canon R7. Works perfectly for remote still photos and starting video remotely on the R7. I had no issue with pairing as I had watched a couple of videos before it's arrival. Videos were for Canon M50, but I had no difficulty with the slightly different R7 menus. One does have to select the remote in the "drive" menu for still photos, and then set the R7 in the video mode selector, and then go to the menu and select the remote there. Once you do this a few times, it can happen quickly. Great device priced much less that the Canon remote. Recommended

I wouldn’t bother.
Couldn’t get it to connect with my camera. I returned it.

Zoom function won't work without $180 Power Adapter for lens
I film myself for youtube vids, and got this so I didn't have to get up, and walk over to my camera (Canon EOS M50 Mark II) every time I need record a segment. I got this one specifically because it had a zoom function with the shutter release function. However, I didn't know until I had the product in my hand and was reading the pairing instructions, that the zoom function ONLY works if you buy a power adapter for your lens. An adapter that runs $180! I checked back over the listing, and they do mention this but in reeeeeaaaaally tiny print that I didn't even notice until I went looking for it on the listing. So this is a heads up for y'all that want to buy this for the zoom function, it won't work without the expensive adapter. Shutter function works great though. But there are cheaper remotes out there that only do the shutter function, and I would recommend one of those unless you already have the adapter.

I got this for the Canon RP. Here is what you need to know for it to work
I got this for a Canon RP. Pairing was easy. Just hold "W" and "T" together and it will go into pairing mode. if it flashes like 10 times, then it errored out. Do it again. On the camera is the most important part. Go into bluetooth and get it to where it will ask you to check bluetooth connection. Mine is paired with my phone but this won't get in the way of that. But you can only have one bluetooth connection at a time, so can't use your phone as a screen and take a photo at the same time using the remote.Once you have it searching for a remote, put the remote in pairing mode like listed above. Once it connects, the camera will confirm it. Now it will work. Easy Peasy.****Now for the important part****For my Canon, you have the put the camera in 2 second delay mode for the remote to work. If you read the manual or call Canon, you will eventually learn this but it's not obvious. I returned another brand remote because it worked once and then never again because I had it in burst mode. Can't do that with the remote. The remote will take one photo at a time and if you switch the mode, 2 second delay.Anyway, this w
