My 4 and 6 year old love this book! There is so much information and best of all the flaps are sturdy!

This book has a question "title" for each 2-page spread. The rest of the information and flaps on the page are supposed to answer this question. This book addresses the questions: What are bees?, Why do we need bees?. Where do bees live?, How do bees make honey?, and Who's who in a hive?. The book ends with other random facts about bees. I must say this is one of the best book on bees out there for the age group of preschool through third grade. The younger kids would need to be read to and the older kids could read it to themselves. My only complaint is that when it mentioned bees were dying out, it did not mention pesticides (THE main reason for bee population declines and is not being properly dealt with by governmental regulations). I did not see Africanized bees mentioned either - how GMO is harming humans and the bee populations. Otherwise, a great book.

Bought this for a beekeepers baby shower and it was a huge hit!
