I bought this book to use with my son the summer between kindergarten and 1st grade. I love that it has a variety of topics it covers including spelling, sight words, reading comprehension, and a mix of math skills. My son loves the colorful pages and variety of activities. He also loves that there are stickers included for when he completes each page. Would absolutely recommend this, especially for reluctant/high energy learners.

I ordered 2 first grade books and 1 3rd. The books cover several subjects. They also keep the children's interest.

Perfect for homeschool

My grandson sat down with his mom and they read and discussed the contents and found it to be very helpful.

I am using this book with my 4-year-old and she seems to be entertained by it. She is learning new things and she asks to do it. I am not giving it 5 stars because I think it is too thin and students can go over it very quickly. Other than that, I recommend it.

Great prep for school

I thought this workbook was well-laid out and provided students a variety of activities that support what they had been learning and doing in school before school let out for the summer.

The workbook covers all subjects. It is summer, so we only do work pages a couple times a week, but we can cover everything in just a handful of pages. I’m confident this will help him start 1st grade at the same level he finished kindergarten, preventing the summer slide.
