Never lingering in one place for long, the band quickly goes from there into some of the catchiest Latin Rock this side of Santana's "Smooth" on such gems as "Love And Hope" and "(Who Discovered) America?" before tearing off in other directions. I have to say I'm not a rap or hip-hop fan
So don't be worried about getting this album if you are in the, um, over 35 generation and "hate rap" - that's me and I thought every song on this album was great! A guy I worked with in Texas recommended this band after hearing some of my CD mixes at work (probably b/c I like Mana). I happened to see Ozomatli live here in Kauai and they give the best concert I have ever seen (sorry about that Bruce (Springsteen) and Tom (Petty) who are the two who used to hold that honor in my pantheon).I just got this and Live at the Fillmore which is excellent as well, although there's some overlap.If you just like music (yes, it's like having to go to the ugh, country section, to get your Mary Chapin Carpenter and Townes van Zandt) check it out regardless of your prejudices towards "urban" music

Finally replaced an old favorite disc that had a gazillion skips and blank spots, this sounds perfect to me, so pleased with product and fast service

See them live if you can!
This band has grown with every new release. They take on new political and cultural relevance, but never forget that people want to MOVE! I've seen them live 3 times now, and they always bring the crowd to its feet within 1-2 songs. I dig their positive message of political activism wrapped up in danceable rhythms. Check them out if they come to your 'hood.

This CD Will Solve All Your Problems
It is so happy, so fast, and so complete, you may never need to visit a therapist or feel the need to cry ever again. Just pop in "Street Signs" and the hug the world.Each song has its own appeal and style and the energy is both strong and enticing. My 6 year old gets up to dance whenever she hears it and has declared each song as "her favorite".

If you don't know Ozo...here is a great place to start...
If you like rap, if you like Latin, if you like up beat and positive...Ozo are your guys and this is a great album to start with (or add to your collection). Great songs...nice diverfsification. GREAT BAND

Ce disque est un condensé d'énergie positive. Ce groupe métissé donne le meilleur de lui même dans des compositions variées mêlant diverses origines. Autant vous dire que ce n'est pas triste . C'est très vivant et rythmé . Bref, ça bouge pas mal. 14,7 / 20

今年のFUJIROCKFESTIVAL04に出演して最高のアクトを見せてくれたOZOMATLIの３枚目のアルバム。ラテンを基礎として、その上にヒップホップ・ロックを乗せたアメリカ西海岸特有の超ポジティブサウンドは、体が勝手に踊りだすこと間違いなし。前２作よりも全体的にラテン色が強くなってます。今年FUJIでのライヴは持ち時間が過ぎても、ステージ降りて客と大暴れととにかく最高のおじさんたちです。

En attente d'écoute
Reçu hier soir. Je n'ai pas encore eu le temps de l'écouter, mais son aspect laisse à désirer. Le livret donne l'impression d'être passé dans une machine à laver. J'espère que le CD sera en état de marche.

CD case has holes in front and back
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this as birthday gift... recipient advised there were holes in front and back of CD case when it arrived. Not impressed.
