Easy assembly, very robust and a great price too, what more could one ask for?
What struck me, and the postman, first was the weight of the package. Each item inside is individually wrapped in plastic bags. Of course instructions are provided and although I read them first they were not really needed for assembly. I referred to them for adjusting the arm though. It's worth noting that the arm suspension is provided fully tight in order to initially support up to 12Kg max weight monitor your might attach. I had to loosen the suspension quite a bit to get it to lower to were I wanted it as my monitor is only 6kg. The arm is well articulated and very strong and I get the impression that it would easily support monitors over the specified 12kg weight and that the limiting factor for such weight would be the strength of the suspension adjustment. There are two types of desk attachment provided, one being a clamp and the other a rod, wingnut and pressed metal bracket. Both are very heavy duty and the overall feel of the arm is that of a robust, heavy and well engineered. I drilled a hole through my desk just so I could use that attachment method as it is a little more discrete that the clamp. That said, the clamp build quality and it being easily adjustable in length, it will certainly be using it as an addition to my toolbox. Cable management is provided and I only had to remove one panel held in place be two screws, to effectively hide the cables. All adjustment is via the provided allen-keys for which one cable management bracket has holes to store them, but a cross-head screwdriver is needed for VESA bracket attachment to the back of the TV. Overall, the build quality, ease of assembly and adjustment is excellent and I certainly have no problem recommending this item to other people.

Really great for the money
It's rare I'm pleasantly surprised enough by an Amazon purchase to immediately head here to write a five star review, but here I am (this is a genuine review, not paid for nor induced, I was not asked to write it). When I bought this item, it was reduced to £31, and I have a 32 inch 8.5kg monitor so most of the cheaper stands won't do as they only take up to 6kg (and even these, I'd take those upper limit claims with a pinch of salt). This stand cost almost what those smaller stands do, but it takes much larger monitors (though again, I wouldn't believe the 12kg upper limit claim). It certainly took my 8.5kg 32 inch monitor with ease, indeed I had to *reduce* the tension from how it arrived from the factory, so I wouldn't be surprised if it could take up to 10kg or so.As other reviews have mentioned, its weakest point is the vertical rotation joint just behind the monitor. I had to screw mine pretty tight to stop the monitor flopping forwards. I can easily see that the arm, the whole rest of the mechanism, would take much heavier monitors easily, but that vertical rotation joint would not take much more weight without stripping its threads (as other reviews have mentioned).Given that the next cheapest stand suitable for my monitor (claimed maximum of 9kg, too close for me) is £50 at the time of writing, and in fact is £120 if you want one with a more generous claimed maximum of 13kg, this stand for £31 is an absolute steal. Sure, it's not as flexible nor long as the stands generally fitted in big corporations, but theirs cost many hundreds of pounds each. This gets you all of the motion what you actually use on a daily basis for one fifteenth the cost.In terms of build quality, I was genuinely surprised, it was much better than expected, and it looks much more expensive that it is. Only one part is in aluminium, the rest in steel, so it's heavy. Some reviews say the assembly instructions are confusing, I'd actually call them better than average for stuff from China, though I'll admit I did sometimes have to study a diagram before it "clicked" (make sure you check the captions!).The only minuses are that the total arm length is a bit short, so you'll be restricted in where you can put the clamp. Also, you'll need some pressure spreading material, as the clamp's bottom pad isn't really big enough for the torque and you'll damage your desk unless you put in some thick double walled cardboard to spread out the pressure. Otherwise it's all good, the wire routing brackets are strong and well located, the VESA bracket fit my monitor easily, there are very few negatives in this item for its price.

Great Range of Height
I bought this single monitor stand as I needed more height than most of the stands on amazon offer. Be careful, I know this because the first one I bought had to go back and I swapped out to this one. I've a Samsung 28'' monitor and the VESA mount is at the top of the monitor, not the more standard middle, so the brackets will hold the screen that bit lower. This mount is nicely made, well packaged and easy to build. Because of the upright arm, it sits to the side and gives an amazing range of height while the gas arm allows the flexibility of movement. Being critical, I do find it wobbles a little. I've tightened up the joints, which makes it better, but due to the design a small shake on the desk gets amplified. Happy Customer!

Excellent
This is super-easy and fast to assemble and install, and has given me my desk space back, it's great.Working from home during the pandemic was ok for a couple of months, but after a while I knew I needed a large screen, so I bought a 34" curved one to plug my laptop into, which again, was great for a while. However, the depth of the stand to counterbalance the weight of that screen took over my desk top area meaning my laptop had to move to the side. After several months of this I started getting neck and arm pains from sitting and working at an awkward angle. So I needed a monitor arm to lift the screen off of the desk suface to give me the depth back, enabling me to put a keyboard or laptop back directly in front of me.I spent weeks looking at dozens of these as many of them are not quite right, but I am so pleased I did and found the right one for the job. This is easily adjustable, relatively unobtrusive, smart looking with good cable management, and definitely strong enough for this 8kg 34" screen (think it can take up to about 12kg). I assembled and installed it, including drilling for the through-desk clamp, in about 20 mins or so. another 20 mins adjusting to get it just right and I was done. It's been in situ for about three weeks now, no issues.
