Honey Mama's, Lavender Rose Cocoa Truffle Bars, No Refined Sugar, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Soy Free, Paleo, 2.5 Ounce, 3-Serving Bar

I have used this specific flavor of Honey Mama's chocolate for special occasions for years and I win over new people with every serving. The roses are beautiful and the chocolate is quite rich and creamy. I often cut this into smaller bite size pieces so folks can savor each bite and not overdo it. Beware they will melt when it gets warm; serve them cold and keep them in the fridge between servings. You will not be disappointed!

I am concerned by the number of reviews from people who are afraid to eat this because it was not shipped cold and they feel they might be made unwell by the nonrefrigerated...honey?? Honey is shelf stable and naturally anti-microbial. It is used to heal infections and wounds and has been shown in labs to inhibit the growth of bacteria. Folks, you will not get sick from ingesting this chocolate at room temperature. The reason the package recommends refrigeration is to prevent melting. The chocolate is quite soft at room temp. It's almost like a fudge. It can be safely stored in a room temperature or cooler space. I wouldn't keep it near a radiator or in direct sunlight, but it is fine in a pantry closet. Besides that, it's possibly the most delicious chocolate I've ever had. It does taste like food (not just candy) as it has pieces of coconut and a rich texture to it, but if you appreciate whole, natural foods and enjoy chocolate, I think you're in for a treat!

Let me start off by saying I love products that contain lavender flavors. Many folks in my circle simply don't enjoy it, but it's a flavor I always thought could be worked into many things quite well. So, seeing this chocolate, I ordered it! Sounded good. I must say, I have never been so thoroughly disappointed in a chocolate. This is not a "safely mediocre" situation in which I am disappointed this chocolate didn't break any new grounds mixing lavender and chocolate flavors- right off the bat, this is plain BAD. Opening the package seemed fine at first, but as soon as I pulled the wrapped chocolate out of the box, my fingers were coated in an unexpected oiliness. I turned over the package to see that seemingly all of the oil has collected off/out of the bar and into one congealed white chunk at the base of the package, where I grabbed it. I take a nibble of the non-oily parts and it's got a gritty, mushy, almost earthy consistency, with no chocolate-y base flavor in mind and a distinct lack of any lavender flavors- but an absolutely overwhelming coconut flavor? Which leads me to another thing, this bar seemingly fronts the lavender rose flavors, but two of the three first ingredients are coconut and coconut oil. This has not only masked any delicate flavors of the lavender and rose, but also made it terribly prone to melting, which very apparently happened in shipment. Thankfully, I was able to get a refund, but I would strongly discourage anyone else from purchasing this due to its poor qualities.

if you eat this at room temperature it tastes just like fudge. it is so delicious but I don't really care for the other flavors LOL this flavor though is absolutely delicious. they're kind of expensive but they are of quality ingredients.

This is my favorite chocolate. I love the texture and delicious lavender rose flavor. It's a little pricey, but a real treat!

Bought as a stocking stuffer. The family seemed to really like it, but I did not. It packs a STRONG punch of lavender that sort of lingers in your mouth. You really have to love lavender to like this. The chocolate and coconut was okay. But the texture was all over the place.
