Great all around . Don’t give up on your first try.
So first off I’m glad I didn’t write a review as soon as I used it for the first time. I thank my toddler for realizing my frustration after my first batch was a disaster and looked anything but cake balls. She looked at me and said,” mom, it’s ok try again.”She’s is 3 and teaching me life lessons. So I still used all the crumbles from that batch and made cake pops the old way by mixing frosting and hand forming the cake pops. I went for my second batch intent and I’m so glad I did. I put way less batter maybe a little over half full and they didn’t spill over! THey were perfect little cake balls and I let them cool and went on the make cake pops and they were amazingly soft cake centered and perfectly baked. So if the first batch doesn’t fly, like my daughter said please try again! :)

Cake pop mold
Perfect!! Easy TO USE ! AND EASY TO CLEAN!! Loved how they had a booklet with instructions and the limit of heat it can take and for how long to leave them in there! You do have to kind of guess how much to put in each so it won't overflow and not to be flattened out. Great product.

My 8 cake pops looked like a pinterest fail
Cake pops take a little more skill in the kitchen than I currently have. I used the small recipe book that came with the mold. Long story short, I planned to make around 40 cake pops. I stopped at about 8 and did not serve them at the party as I had planned. The mold worked ok, but I found the small sticks impossible to stay in the cake and it even more impossible to melt chocolate and distribute over the cake pop. My 8 cake pops looked like a pinterest fail. This whole experience made me realize why cake pops are expensive, and I am completely willing to forck out the money to the cake lady I typically order from for all future kid parties.

Press for your life lol!
This is a good product, but I suggest running your fingers up and down each column and row to securely press the sides together. Do not just press the edges and ignore the middle or you will end up with just a half of a pop. I learned this lesson my first time using the mold. The batter will bake out to the sides as it rises, if it's not securely pressed together and you will end up with a tangle mess. My second time around (the same day as i was determine to master it) I pressed all around and through the mold and they came out perfectly formed!

DOES NOT WORK FOR CAKE POP
Just terrible tried several ways, just doesn't work for cake pop. I tried to put a plate on it, so it doesn't rise in the middle , the cake pops under the plate didn't cook. I tried several different recipes. No matter what I did this thing does not work .Just save your money.

Tips for success
I read through the reviews to get tips on how the use the product, since it seemed people either loved it or hated it. Here are the things I tried and the cake pops turned out great:1.) I used a cake pop recipe baked in silicone molds I found on YouTube2.) I greased and floured each well3.) I filled the wells just a little over halfway. If they are not full enough they will not become a full ball during baking and if they're too full, they will run outside the well.4.) When attaching the two silicone pieces I pressed not just the edges together, but also ran my fingers up and down each column and row, pressing down.5.) I set on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees.Unlike others, I found the silicone easy to clean afterwards. Maybe this was helped by the pre-greasing.

Weird smell, weird taste
This cake pop mold is very flimsy. But my biggest problem was that the mold made my cakes smell and taste strange. I will try using them again, maybe it was a first time thing cause they’re new? But I can’t serve these cake pops. They definitely don’t smell or taste right. And the cake batter itself tastes perfect before putting it in the mold and cooking it. I’ve used that same batter in many different cakes and molds/pans. And it has been a hit. So it had to be the cake pop mold causing it.

Nothing is perfect. It works, and saved me so much time 😊
I was honestly nervous about this, from reading the reviews, so I looked at youtube tutorials. It did bake over the edges a bit, but who gives a crap. This saved me so much time, it actually worked!! The only thing, the sticks it came with are too thin and short, and doesn't fit in my cake pop stand, but 5 stars because this is awesome, and it even came with sticks. I baked these caps just now. Photos below.

Doesn’t work
Does not work as described. Tried to use the mould a few times and each time only a few around the edges turned out. The middle ones leaked into each other making a mess.
