Murff’s Claminator clam guns are built by clammers, for clammers. They are made of the finest stainless steel to offer maximum protection against sea water, and every-day wear and tear. The ultimate tool for digging razor and gapper clams on sandy beaches. The valve action vent tube on the clam gun is truly the magic! The valve is designed to close as the gun enters the sand. It then opens as the gun is pulled up, breaking the natural occurring vacuum, and making it much easier to pull out of the sand. This reduction in pull weight means it is easier on the digger’s back, shoulders and knees, allowing many more people the opportunity to dig that otherwise may not be able to with conventional guns. To be honest, there are other guns on the market with various types of vent tubes that are also effective at making it easier to pull out of the sand. What separates those clam guns from the Murff’s Claminator clam gun is our quality materials, unique valve design and exceptional workmanship! Brand new in the Claminator line-up is the Lil' Desperado, a clam gun specifically designed for the young clammer.
