It could be a fraction smaller but without the split it wouldn’t be able to be fitted and if too tight you would potentially loose some of the spring back that holds it tight. For me this compromise is the right choice. In summary these guys have a great product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Fitted perfectly on my key fob *by V***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 March 2023* I managed to remove the old one on my fob and replace easily. Just a subtle touch for a different look to others.
