She gives 40 projects, some of which are unlikely to be suitable for US houses, but are a pleasure to read about. You can use her techniques to transform a piece of furniture no one else would give a second look. The ASCP is expensive, so making new colors is a real plus. There is Annie Sloan's own color wheel, using her colors and techniques. Including the warm/cold color theory for decorating. She paints a chair before taking off the old upholstery, demos faux marble, stenciled walls, and painted floors, & shows how to put colors together in a room, and HT dye fabric using her paint, among the many projects. This is a good book that answers the questions you might have.
