Maxpedition is the best.
Its Maxpedition. That just about says it all. Excellent product. Grrat quality. Great organization. One of the best in my rotation. I already have the black one. I just had to have the wolf grey color as well. The falcon 2 has a real nice smaller footprint but i can still fit a 15.6 laptop with a sleeve inside it. It can be expanded for an even larger load out if you want. The shoulder strap cinches allow you to carry high on the back, and along with the narrow footprint, I love the fit. Looks tough.

Best pack I’ve ever had
I bought this pack for work… it’s kind of a get home bag slash work bag…. It works out perfect.. It has plenty of room for a few things I might need in a bad situation like a small IFAK, flash light, extra batteries, a few hours worth of food, bivvy and an extra knife… There’s also room for my work stuff like PPE and an extra work shirt. The layout is pretty good and the nylon is supreme! This bag is pretty much water repellent. I’m sure if you fell in a river your stuff might get a little wet but rain is not gonna be a problem … I’ve literally walked into work in pouring down rain and everything stays nice and dry. The zippers are pretty stiff but keep everything out … it’s the best made pack I’ve ever had and it’s held up very well so far… Maxpedition makes a durable product from what I can see. The lower outside pocket is a little hard to get into with one hand because it is so close to the upper pouch but other than that I have no complaints … It wears comfortably on my back and even with all the stuff I have in it it doesn’t appear to be over packed… Lots of molly webbing too… I can honestly say that when I go out of town for the weekend there’s plenty of room for me to pack it out with clothes and toiletries and still have room for the survival stuff that always stays in it … love my maxpedition so far

Don't be shocked by the very small size on arrival
I opened the box and was dismayed at how tiny this pack was. It looked like a toddler pack! But once I expanded it, it holds a good amount. As an ER doc, I am using this as a go-pack for my disaster relief. I find I can stuff everything I need to be able to resuscitate a patient in the field. I would be surprised if it fit an average sized male...I am 5/4" and about 140 lb and it feels almost to short waisted for me. But then again I am used to larger backpacks for hiking. I have never used Maxpedition but am very impressed with the quality and design. The detail parallels my more expensive back country packs and gear. I think it will last a long time. My only comment would be I wish there were a little padding in the waist belt [though not critical since this pack will not be very heavy], and a little more ability to adjust the shoulder harness. For women, the chest strap can be removed and replaced depending on bust size [though not easily].

Great bag
Love this bag. Looks great, feels very durable and sturdy. I've bought other bags like this for way cheaper and they fell apart after a little bit. This one has been way better. Comfortable to wear around. Have not used it with a hydration pack yet but I fit a 2L in with no issues to test it. Straps are sturdy and mounted a bottle carrier on the side, nice tight fit.Update: 2 years in and the bag is still going strong. Put a 3L hydration pack in multiple times and it fit great. I've taken it on 2 cross country trips and walked a ton of miles ans it holds everything I need and is comfortable. Added on a water bottle holder on the side as well.

Not quite what I had envisioned, but probably perfect for the job.
I guess I didn't read the reviews close enough for I too was a little bit shocked by the size. People on youtube reviewing the pack had fully expanded (and often also added additional pouches) and were describing this as a medium bag, I was looking for medium but this was not what i envisioned as medium. I do on the other hand believe it will be suitable for my purposes and where it seems small it is more suitable to keeping things organized. My most recent backpack before this was an ogio backpack which basically had one big compartment and one zipper pouch. It served for packing a laptop and a binder but it was not the most organized pack if I added things like cables, computer accessories, etc... While my initial impression of this pack was that it appeared kind of compact, I think the fact that I'm not a college student packing text books and papers, will allow this to function more to my current needs. I have an assortment of items I like to have handy when I travel to and from work, primarily a laptop and various accessories. I had a messenger style bag for this but it was a bit flimsy and the organizational areas were stuffed down in hard to navigate pouches, it did however have a handy padded laptop sleeve which I will be swapping over to this maxpedition pack. I can keep the laptop and a few components in one section of the pack while keeping other items such as multitools, flashlights, pens etc... separate and sort them by what needs to be the most accessible, this is something neither my basic school pack or messenger bag were really capable. they were also not as rugged, nor did they really offer modular expansion - which is really how a pack like this wins. I look forward to customizing and making this the ideal option for my daily pack.

Great fit
I load up 40 pounds of sand and then some books and electronics - sometimes a water bottle and a poncho in case it rains for may daily 3 mile commute on foot that I sometimes cut through hiking trails on. This stays put on my back and it is hardly noticeable. I've used other heavy duty (tactical) brands but this one is the most organizable and least noticeable. I dont hate my other backpacks (I have a lot of backpacks and sling bags) but this one is by far my favorite for daily and for adventuring.

Really Nice backpack a little small
Great day pack edc bag but small. If this pack was 4 inches taller abs 3 inches wider I would say it’s the best back pack ever…for my needs. Workmanship gets 5 Stars. The look is great . One thing I might do is add a compression insert for bottom of the bag.

Day bag nothing more nothing less
Lots of attachment options however it is a small bag so don’t expect to fit a lot
