Because with inflation $70 is not worth as much as $60 was three years ago, they prob are making a lil less profit now actually selling you the game at $70 then did a couple years ago selling it to you at $60. It prob rly needs to be $80 for them to make the same profit margin they made a few years ago selling it at $60. Inflation is crippling and the number one thing that can take down a first world country. Why Xbox is still $60 is because they prob have more left over materials due to less demand, eventually Xbox will be $70 too.

$70 for a remastered game? Please give me a good reason to pay almost $100 dollars for this.

There's a difference between a remake and a remaster. A remake is when a company literally remakes the game. A remaster is when a company takes what's already there and cleans it up a bit. Bluepoint has done both. They remastered the first Uncharted games. Same games. Same graphics. Just higher textures and usually better framerate. They also REMADE Shadow of the Colossus. Same game, but completely rebuilt from the ground up. No old assets were used. This is like that.
