I went to Ireland recently and got a tattoo while I was there. I wanted a good aftercare lotion and this was it. My mom and I both used it for our new tattoos and it was hydrating without being too much. Will definitely purchase more.

Got my first tattoo done last week and ordered this product in advance after reading some reviews on here and articles recommending it. For the first two days after removing the saniderm I applied Aquaphor which worked well but is greasy. On day three I switched to this product and it was done a great job in keeping my tattoo moisturized without feeling greasy at all. A little bit definitely goes a long way with this lotion. While it has worked well I did take off one star as I don’t feel as though it helps a whole with itch relief. Sure, the first 10 minutes after application are fine but after that the itchiness kind of returns. Not unbearable mind you but noticeable. Perhaps my expectations are too high and nothing out there actually provides longer term itch relief without leaving a greasy/sitting on top of type feeling?

Kept my tattoo clean and moisturized thru the healing stages

Used this after getting my tattoo touched up on my extremely acne prone back! Didn't clog my pores so no breakouts! Loved that it was fragrance free, and it actually moisturized my tattoo and kept it from itching! It lasted all day too so if you work somewhere where it may be hard to reapply lotion through out the day..this is for you because it will last a 12 hour work day until you can reapply again!

Other negative reviewers make no sense. Seriously have you even gotten tattooed and used some of the older stuff? This is a decent solution for after tattoo care. Overall liked basic scent, if there even is one? It doesn’t leave you too oily, very dry feel. I’ve seen nicer more expensive lotion but I didn’t have time to mess around. My only regret is that I ran out. Would buy again tho.

Wow! This is my third large tattoo. On the previous two, I used good old A & D Ointment. Well, this aftercare lotion is head and shoulders above the ointment. My tattoo feels soft and supple, and I'm not having to deal with all that greasy goo. I apply this two or three times a day and I could not be happier. This is the best stuff ever! Smells nice, isn't greasy, and I feel like it's nourishing my skin, not just sitting on top of my skin. I'll never go back to a petroleum jelly based product.

My product arrived with a good quarter of the tube compressed with product missing. Or worse, they don't fill their tubes up all the way. Nevertheless, it's sketchy that the tube looks like it's been 'squeezed,' and it's that hard foil-type material that retains it's shape very well, so it was obviously manipulated. Haven't had a chance to try the product itself yet. I'm just mad that I was sent only part of a $20 product. And it's not like I can return it as I need it for my new tattoo and don't have time to wait for a new product to ship.

My partner and I used this on our new tattoos over the past few months, and it’s been amazing! Calmed the itches like a charm, and didn’t leave any streaks or sticky residue. My partner has petty sensitive skin, and this didn’t irritate her at all. Currently putting in another order, because I’m running out. 10/10 highly recommend!
