This is the best plastic I've found for tablecloths. We had two sizes of rectangular tables, so the roll of plastic allowed us to cut tablecloths to just the right size. The cutter on the box worked well and saved a lot of time. The plastic is thicker than what I've found at the big box stores and party stores, but you can see through it. We doubled up the plastic on our tables which made them opaque. I used inexpensive fabric table runners to dress them up a little. The plastic isn't real shiny and has a slight texture so it didn't slip around on the tables--both of which are plusses to me. We used them for a barbeque dinner with lots of spills, and I was surprised how well they cleaned up leaving no stains so we left them on the tables for the next day. The event was out of state, so after the event I threw them away, but they cleaned up so well that I would have saved them for future use if I had been at home. I also bought this company's round tablecloths and they were of the same quality. I'd buy them again and recommend them to others as long as you plan on doubling them for each table.Update to the above: I had a couple of these tablecloths at home and I just used one of them for my grandchildren's art project with acrylic paint. The paint splotches and spills stayed on the tablecloth for hours after the kids were done. The tablecloth was a mess and I planned to throw it away; but just before I did, I wondered how well the paint would clean up. Thought I might save it for the next grandkids painting session, so I sponged up the biggest dried messes of paint but there was a lot of staining on the tablecloth, especially from the black, brown and dark blue paint. I threw it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle and I wondering if it would be all ripped up when I took it out. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only did it go through the wash cycle without getting ripped, but all the paint was gone and the tablecloth was perfectly white again. This really is a good product for the price!

I bought this to help protect the table where my daughter does her crafts and such. The plastic is the same kind of thin plastic you'd expect from a disposable celebration-type tablecloth that you'd get in any party store, but having a huge roll of it with a built-in cutter is a great idea. Not only can I cover that table but any other surface, however large or small, can be protected as well. Plus it's cheaper than buying multiple individually-packaged tablecloths.The only two tiny shortcomings: One, the box is a bit heavy (naturally, for an item of this weight) and would have benefited from having built-in handles, which it doesn't, so it's a little clumsy to move around. And two, the cutter -- while great for what it is -- really needs a length of double-sided tape to hold it to the box edge. I made that modification myself and it really helps to keep the cutter in place while it works.

I first want to say the shipping was SUPER fast - so if you need this product in a hurry this is definitely the way to go. The colour was PERFECT and the cutter built into the box was awesome and made cutting the table cloth to size a breeze. So, there are a lot of thumbs up for those things. If you are looking for a thick and durable table cloth this isn't the best choice. We used on picnic tables AND doubled them up - but a light wind, or a slightly rough to the touch table would snag and rip the tablecloth. (Around kids didn't hold up as nice as we would have hoped). They did save the day on this item by shipping so fast ~ as we needed it in a rush and for that I'm grateful. The price is very reasonable as well.

I'm rating this 4 out of 5 because of the box. I love the concept of this product, but it is awkward when you're trying to pull out the tablecloth and cut it with the cutter. You can do this by yourself but it works better with 2 people because you can't just lay the box on the table, pull out the cloth and then cut. Why you ask? Because you need to know how much length the you need since there are no measurements anywhere (which I wasn't expecting). Like I said, just 4 stars because the cutting, otherwise it's a great value for what you get and I would definitely purchase again.

The plastic is very thin and rips with a graze of your fingernail. I have to fold 3 layers in order to properly protect my table.

This was purchased for a church event in which we were using many tables of varying sizes. The cost per foot was much more reasonable than buying individual table clothes, and the box with the cutter allowed us to easily cut it to any length. Also, the smaller box is much easier to store than the long tubes of table coverings purchased in party supply stores.

This was fantastic because the venue we rented had multiple different sized tables. With this I was able to customize and there's a LOT on the roll. I have a ton left over. The only downside I would say is that it tears easily when dishes are placed on it, etc. but worked exactly how I needed it to.

Had a hard time getting into box. When I did it pulled back the cutter some. Also thin enough still had vapor marks on wood table when pulled it off.
