As soon as I took the cap out of the packaging, I knew straight away it was a high quality item. It was extremely well finished in every way and the rear adjustment strap looked very strong. The cap is lined and has a good sized geuine leather skip. I wear caps almost every day and this is the most comfortable one by far. There is no hard edge to the skip so it doesn't dig into my forehead as some others do and the velcro adjuster means you get a perfect fit and it won't blow off in a high wind! I wear glasses and like this style of cap as it keeps the rain off my specs and also stops the hood of my jacket from flopping down onto my face. It's a little bit pricier than some others but you get what you pay for and this one is well worth the extra cost. All in all, great value for money and it should last me for many years.

Well made and comfortable. I can confirm after a long walk in the rain that it is waterproof. I particularly like the adjustable strap, made of leather with steel buckle - no Velcro with this cap.

Bought this for walking dog in unpredictable weather of the West of Scotland. I have decent wet weather gear, but prefer not to have to have my hood up (unless rain is horizontal!) so that I can hear for traffic etc. while on farm roads and in the dark mornings. This cap is ideal. The main part is covered by waxed cotton, so the rain runs off, and the leather peak does a similar job. It also has the added benefit of when I do need to put my hood up, it stops the hood falling over my eyes. I have a similar "old mans bunnet", however that does not have the extended peak that this baseball cap has. Nice and plain design, with no logos, graphics etc. is exactly what I wanted. Fits perfectly and has an adjustable band to ensure it stays on in the predominantly windy weather we get here.

Fits well (male, 6ft 1in, average head size), waxed cotton repels water well - needs wax maintenance as would be expected (once every 4 weeks seems to work well).
