After several years of using a Brita, and only a couple using ZeroWater, I was looking for a pitcher that would take out the majority of chemicals without taking out all of the minerals. Brita does not take out fluoride, and ZeroWater stripped my water down so much that my thirst was never quenched. (Incidentally, bottled water that has been filtered by reverse osmosis has minerals added back into it because you need them for taste.) While I wasn't a fan of the color (pink was all that was available when I ordered), I saw that it took out the chlorine and fluoride while still leaving some minerals. It took me about a week to adjust to the water taste, which seemed strong after having used the Zero brand. But it's worth it: it now only takes me a glass of two of water to feel satisfied on a hot day. The design is very user friendly. The top is easily removed, and there is a spring loaded quick-fill lid. You can either push it down and to the right, which locks it in place until you are done adding water, or just push it down with the faucet head; the water lifts it as the reservoir fills. The filter portion of the Brita would shift, and the ZeroWater chamber would fall off and spill water everywhere. They also tended to harbor mold in the nooks and crannies. Not so with this filter. If I've filled the reservoir and I need water right away, I just make sure to hold the top portion firmly with my thumb, which is easy to do since it is right by the handle where I grip it. One thing that I also really enjoy about the design is that it doesn't leak water down the spout/pitcher when pouring. This is a first for me. One of my concerns with this filter was the electronic water quality indicator. I don't like the idea of having a battery in the fridge where it will be subject to condensation. Fortunately, all that is necessary to remove it is to pinch the edges and pull it out. I am saving it simply because I can use it to test water in a glass. Filter installation is straightforward. Peel off two plastic tabs on the top and insert. The weight of the water helps seat it in if you're nervous about the fit. Mine has yet to come loose. I had to discard/donate the first three filtrations to the plants, but my water supply had a high amount of mineral content, so it may not take as much for you. All in all, a quality purchase. In fact, my only complaint is that it doesn't come in blue.

WD-PT-05B 5-cup pitcherI own the 10 cup pitcher and liked it so much that I purchased this 5 cup model for my other fridge. This model has roughly the same dimensions (handle to spout and height) as the 10 cup but is not as wide. This one is much easier to handle with one hand. My city water is mostly sourced from local wells with lots of minerals, good and bad. This filter will actually take my 700TDS tap water down to under 500TDS. Proof it does remove unwanted things from your water. It is well worth the money. It also removes the weird aftertaste from my tap water.Edit added: In the pictures, the 5 cup model is left, the 10 cup model is on the right.

Update: it has been 9 months ans this pitcher still works like day one. I’ve change filters 3 times so far. (Bought it directly from the company). I recommend this 100 times over the brittaSo far so good. I had a britta faucet filter first (piece of shit) then I bought a Pur pitcher (garbage). This is so far the best water filter pitcher I had so far. Water tastes great. Filtration is fast (too fast that it makes you wonder if ist actually filtering) but the truth is that the water taste good and the pitcher works and looks perfect.

The pitcher looks stylish, with a gentle and romantic color. I used it to treat my friends, and they were also attracted by the color! I really love it!! Very beautiful!!Water runs well and quickly through the filter, much quicker than the one I used to have. And the taste is very good.All in all: the Waterdrop filter with a beautiful, well thought-out design and high filter performance. I am absolutely satisfied with the product and therefore a clear purchase recommendation from me.

The pitcher has a clean design and it is very easy to install and use. It only takes a few minutes and a few steps to get the pitcher ready for use.The filtering speed is very satisfying and the filtered water tastes pure. You can clearly tell the difference when brewing tea or coffeeNo manufacturing defects or negligence, the pitcher is solidly constructed without any leftover plastic smell.The filter life is also claimed to last 3 months, which makes it very environmentally friendly. I would recommend the purchase!

Very disappointed. I had high hopes with this filter. The day it arrived, it was already flashing as if the filter needed changed. Knowing that wasn't the case, I ignored it. Within a few days the light indicator stopped working all together. It's now been not even a month of using this filter, and the water tastes disgusting. Tastes like dirty tap water, we can't even drink it anymore. Highly dissatisfied with this product.

It’s very pretty and it’s big. It was packaged very well. It’s fast. The water from after it’s purified is so clean and pure. I am highly satisfied with this product and I highly recommend it

The picture is much smaller then seen on the site and you cannot buy refills for the filter but found out after my purchase now I have a pitcher and no filters to purchase tell me how Is this helping my family can’t drink from the filtered picture as they don’t have any filters in stock comes with one that’s it and you can’t purchase or find them anywhere a wasted 30 bucks so disappointed with the seller

I am thrilled that I gave this a shot. I’ve been a long-time Brita user - you can see this compared to my previous Brita space saving 5 cup pitcher - but like this much better because:- the handle is much more comfortable- I think the water tastes better but honestly it’s hard to be sure- it’s prettier (yes, this is important). I hate how scratched up Brita pitchers get over time. The one in the photo is about a year old- the refill operation is better: instead of having to lift the lid thingie, for this the lid opens inwards/downwards whenever you pour water over it- the refill tank is see through rather than opaque so you can tell when it’s almost full.Really happy with this so far! Highly recommend it.

Amazing, I through out my Brita water pitcher because it was harboring bacteria where you would poor your water. So I was looking for something else and came across this. Thought to try it out. The water taste so much better, holds more water, is more protected from bacteria and is beautifully made.

Considering I use to drink out of the garden hose and eat snow as a kid, I would say this water filter is a step in the right direction. Now I can shake my head in world-weary disapproval at all those people at work who buy throw away plastic bottles, so that's another plus.

The jug is attractive, simple to use and does a great job with our water, leaving it tasting great. I chose this model because it was a reasonable price and the replacement filters didn’t cost an arm and a leg. So far I am very happy with it.

Easy to set up, with the exception of the blue tape that left blue marks, but I used a makeup remover oil to rub it off. The water tastes better than Brita and I love that it comes in very cute colors. Incredibly satisfied!!
