It's such a great color and the fabric is lighter but no problems at all with being able to see through it. It's a great length too. At 5'7" it comes to well above my ankles so it's long enough to cover my legs but not so long that I'm tripping over it or feel like I'm drowning in it. The embellishment at the bottom really adds something nice and makes it look more fashionable than your typical boring, long blue jean skirt.
