BrilliantPad Smart Self-Cleaning Indoor Dog Potty (Smartphone App + 1 Roll)

I have a very small 7 pound pomeranian and she does great with it. She used pads before so I just put them on top of the brilliant pad and after she went a few times on them took the old pads away and she went right on the brilliant pad. I made sure to treat her and now she loves to go on it so transition was a breeze. I love that the app sends the pictures and allows me to see what she has done on the pad and even cure little pictures of her preparing to go sometimes 😊 ... I love that it seems like the app is improving as I see a beta version that allows you to program the roll to roll itself up after 1,2,3,4, or 5 pee events, or 1,2,3,4, or 5 💩 poo events. That is awesome but it does still need some work because it doesn't seem to be doing that correctly just yet but im sure that's why it's still a beta version. Can't wait until they get this part to work properly because that is a very nice feature. I haven't noticed any smells so far which is great and why I wanted it. Literally my only real complaint would be that when it takes photos at night in dim light you can't really see anything. Adding an infrared light can correct this so maybe that will be coming on the product in future 🤷‍♀️ but the hands off, no smell, no leaking, easy cleaning and having control over when I want to advance the roll or look in on the roll is just awesome... my life has already gotten better 😌 thank you creators

I bought this product one year ago. The house I rent does not have a fenced in yard and I often work long hours. I was using pee pads but the constant cleaning I found super obnoxious. It definitely took work to train her to use it. She was not a big fan of having to get on top of the machine. Now she does great but it took some work. One roll doesn't last more than about 3 weeks. Also if you wait too long to have the pad advance to try and get it too last longer it gets too heavy and it won't roll automatically and you have to force it by hand. The pads are very overpriced but it has also kept my laundry much cleaner. The machine is also working great one year later. It's definitely worth it for me I just hate the price.

The brilliant pad indoor dog potty is a big help to me and my dog. It helps me because I don’t have to clean anything up just use the app and it rolls up by itself. My dog knows exactly where to go potty and he loves the way it’s easy cleanup lets him be ready to go in a clean spot every time. This is a wonderful investment that saves me a lot of money.

I rolled up the pad after my pup used it maybe 2x but the urine smell lingered and was so strong!! I thought she had peed somewhere else in the house. I took this mechanism out the house and smell was gone. Also the pad doesn't go end to end so my pup could easily miss and mess the floor. Ultimately I tossed it. The urine smell was just too much for me.

The pros of this start and end with the lack of needing to pick up pee pads daily. The cons are arguably worse depending on what your priorities are. This thing smells, I have a 13 year old poodle and her poop is horrendous. I had already figured that I’d need to conceal the smell, so I’ve placed a battery powered essential oil diffuser right on top of the control module for a constant stream of lemongrass to keep my place from smelling like a porter potty. It works well, without this I wouldn’t be able to deal with the stench. If the diffuser stopped working, I would tear my nose off my face. The pads are pricey. I spend an average of .40 cents a pad, .80 cents a day. This thing is set to roll after 3 pees & 1 poop, so it rolls about twice a day. Rolls last roughly 10 days for me with these settings. If I buy the bulk option of 8 rolls, it comes out to 1.50 a day. Basically double the price of traditional pads. My dog is old and has been potty trained for years. I didn’t need to do anything besides place this in her typical pee pad spot, she went right away. I imagine if i moved the pads it’s be more of an issue, but I anticipated a smooth transition and it was exactly that. I’m extremely lazy and not often home, so the price of not having to change those pads is ok for me. The essential oils mask the smell. It is technically better for the environment, if that’s something you care deeply for. The product does what it’s intended to do, so I will keep it, but I’m far from singing it’s praise.

I love this and it does all the work for you. No more picking up pads and replacing them. The new rolls are so easy to put on and you're ready to go again. My dog loves the pads Woof Woof he said😀

Our dog adjusted immediately! We are so happy that we did this, saves so much frustration for everyone and it’s absolutely amazing in many ways. But we will order the rolls in the 8 pack to save money, don’t hesitate it’s worth the purchase for your family all the way around.

Here is my honest review on this product. First I must say that this company is not customer oriented at all, it is 100% profit oriented Brilliant pad machine works good and smart app too, nevertheless design is not puppy proof. Be very careful what "version" of the equipment you buy, because only PRO version is compatible with the "grate" I was thinking my SMART equipment was compatible with the grate... but of course it is NOT! The grate design can be corrected by design with a simple addition of a couple of wire rows but they do NOT make any version of the grate for SMART So what should I do now just take to the trash 270 dlls of the machine + 100 dlls of the grate? I contacted customer service to ask for a possible grate solution and the response was grate is only for PRO PRO version was developed after SMART! Dangerous for my puppies. It's better to use my 25 dlls old peed pad holder Very very disappointed!
