Great Gift
Bought as a gift for a friend who loved them. Be aware they are small, around the size of a quarter or so.

Fair quality ammonite with nice packaging and display case
The size was as described and the display case was nice (as was the packaging). However, the ammonite itself wasn't overly impressive and I ended up returning it. The middle of my ammonite was filled in and had very minimal detail. I didn't feel the quality of the ammonite was worth the money paid.

Beautiful and Unique Pieces of History
I bought these as "friendship fossils" so my friend and I could each keep one half of the ammonite - and they really are beautiful. They're small, about the size of a half dollar, but you can definitely appreciate the unique chambers on the inside that are slightly crystallized. The outside of the ammonite is slightly opalized which is really beautiful. The pair arrived in a sturdy presentation box with a glass viewing window and pins to secure it closed. Anytime you buy a fossil or crystal online, there's no telling exactly what you're going to get as each one is one of a kind - I was pleasantly surprised with these and would buy them again.
