I bought this hoping it would soften my new split adjustable bed. My husband loves the bed, but it’s way too firm for me. While this doesn’t cool as I would like, I tend to be super hot so it’s probably fine for most people. The price is good, the quality nicer than expected, and it fits perfectly. It does add about an extra almost inch compared to my husband’s side, and I can tell it’s softer than without anything. Stays in place well. I’ll still probably buy a topper to make my side extra soft, but will keep this as well. It doesn’t move around and sheets fit better with it in place.

I got this because we life in good old florida and anyone that lives in the southern part of the us can tell you that summer feels like you are stuck between the devil's buttcheeks. The humidity makes you feel like you just stepped into the sauna and the sun feels like you just took a trip to Mordor. So I got these to help us at least stay a little cooler at night and not wake up feeling like we just took a dip into a hot spring. It has stopped the night sweats and being paired with cooling sheets it has helped our bed feel more comfortable and has made sleeping a way more pleasant experience. It has a decent amount of padding and it fits the bed perfectly. I didn't notice any outward bad smells when unpacking it but like with anything new fabric wise we did run it through a gentle cycle.

I purchased this to hold my Mellow memory foam mattress topper in place on my bed. Its durable and works great. I wash my bedding every Sunday and it has held up very nicely. I didn’t notice it being any cooler but it’s comfortable and it’s an extra layer of protection against spills from my kids.

The product fits well on my twin bed. The elasticized sides really hug the mattress and now the microfiber sheets fit much better. The product offers very soft cushioning and padding and nice support. I'm very pleased with the quality and the packaging. I haven't noticed any "off" smells. So far, I'd buy another if ever needed.

My son and I just got back from the CMP National Match at Camp Perry. This year we stayed in base housing and had been warned that the foam mattresses left a lot to be desired. I got a couple of these mattress pads and we were both glad we had them. The very firm foam mattresses were still very firm but this mattress pad put a soft layer between me and the vinyl-clad military mattress. I slept very well. The sheets stayed put. My son was so impressed that he's taking his back to college this fall.This easily fit on the "Twin XL" mattresses provided. They do arrive rolled and compressed. Once they decompress, they take on the quilted appearance. I washed them before and after the trip and they've held up well. If anything, the first trip through the washer and dryer helped puff it up even more.This is NOT memory foam and it will not add anything appreciable to mattress thickness. This just adds a pillowy layer between your bottom sheet and the top of the mattress. If you've ever slept on an institutional vinyl-clad foam mattress, you'll appreciate why that's important. I can't recommend it enough.

Bought this for the cooling effect and it does not keep you cool. It is very comfortable if you’re looking for just a mattress cover. It keeps the sheets cool where you are not laying. It not where you are. Disappointed :(

No smell , soft , I do believe it keeping me cooler at night when I sleep. I ordered the gray . The color is exactly as I expected . I ordered a king size fits well ., without any corner slipping .. I got it at a great price . Very Satisfied. I would not hesitate on purchasing .

I used the topper to put over my futon mattress.made it so much more comfortable..came on time ,very economical... looks great,so I'm satisfied

It is a mattress cover and because it is quite thick it allows me to have comfortable sleep…

It does not have a cooling effect, it is very soft though. Does not help during hot Summer.

I've not even washed it once yet and it's already falling apart.

I'd recently been using a thick foam topper and tried this one to see if it was cooler; it wasn't. This product is not bad, it is cool when you first lay down and doesn't retain too much heat so it is bearable; but compared to my old foam topper, I think the air bubbles in my previous foam topper did a better job at heat dispersion.
