Amazing product!!
I do not do reviews often. But had to do one for this. This product does such a great job. It pulled most of my dye out. I am back to my original color. I think I may have missed a few spots. But this is one application. Highly recommend. But it’s not the best smelling. But it wasn’t overwhelming

Great product! Highly recommend!
I bought this product to save my hairstylist from having an even bigger product getting me grey! I had red demi-permanent in my hair. After using this just once, it took it all out and left me with the blonde that was underneath! It didn't leave my hair dry like most others either. As others have stated, it is stinky and very strong smelling! I did it in the shower and my husband could smell it when he came in! It kind of smells like perm solution! It is a chemical though so what do you expect! Great product!

Works
Life saver. I put some “semi” permanent Nimbus Gray on my bleached ends, it turned it 3 different colors, none of which gray. I got this stuff to remove it. It was not harsh at all. BUT it smells bad. Like sulphur and unbathed sweaty feet. Not joking. It got the color out, except now there are actually parts of my hair that are gray. It makes no sense. But all in all I recommend keeping this around for those of us who experiment with our hair.

It works!!!
This works miracles!! It lightened my hair multiple shades and with a little to no damage. I say little only because it did dry out my hair but a keratin mask quickly remedied that. It’s so easy to use and lightens in just 20 minutes! The reason I’m only giving it 4 stars is because the smell is the most off putting, offensive product I’ve smelled. It smells like old poop and perm. It’s atrocious.

Perfect “dark brown” turned black, dye remover
Perfection! I have had greys coming in, the ends of my hair lightens from sun damage… so looking at me a week ago my hair was greying dark brown faded to light brown blond ends… decided to dye my hair “dark brown” to my natural color…so my whole head all one color… only to have it turn out black and wash me out! Tried washing it out to no avail. Found this product and it was PERFECT!!! I have a lot of hair and in one application using about a 1/3 of each bottle mixed together, I was lightened to a beautiful med brown with red highlights.Easy to use, and I just used my normal shampoo and conditioner after and my hair is super soft and feels healthy!People mention a strong smell, this is true, it’s not pleasant, but it’s like a perm… you smell it for a while and now 5 hours after completion, I don’t smell it at all. This product completely saved me 💕

2 rounds and no visable damage.
This removed my ginger arctic fox concoction and the ion light copper blonde underneath.. the orangey yellows I was left with are the awful tones I achieved with bleach over the past 5 years. Those can't be removed, only neutralized or covered. Most importantly I had NO DAMAGE. No hair came out in the shower and my damaged ends did not feel any dryer than before.Yesterday I color corrected my hair and got back to brown ✨ My hair needed a break. Also, yes it stinks guys, you'll never find a fast acting color stripper that doesn't stink. Once I washed my shirt and took out the trash the smell didn't linger in the house.I applied 2 rounds and still have probably half of the product left, so 1 order should do most people.

Manage your expectations
I colored my hair several times last year to a burgundy color, last time was at Christmas. Most has faded but some remains and I want to go in a lighter direction. I planned to remove the red then go lighter and hopefully skip the clown orange step by using this product. After a lot of review reading and video watching, I purchased this and followed the steps on the bottle and in one of the reviews (very detailed posted by Buddhist Cowgirl). My natural color is a medium dark brown which was the color it was prior to the burgundy. The color I ended up with is like a light medium color which I have never been lol I don’t hate it but my expectations were that I’d be left close to my natural color and this isn’t it. First two pics are before.

When used as intended, it works
I used to use Pravana Artificial Color Extractor (which was top-tier); when it was discontinued, I had to try to find a similar product as a replacement (so I already had an idea of what I was looking for)... This is the next best thing that's actually (still) available. Before I ordered it, I obviously read the reviews; at the time, there were not many, so I also looked up the product website so I could make sure it was what I was looking for. On the product website it does say "It removes only the artificial pigments deposited on the hair, respecting both its natural colour and structure. It is the safest and most gentle treatment WHEN REMOVING OXIDATIVE HAIR DYE." This is absolutely something that should be included in this product listing.KEY INFORMATION BEFORE ORDERING THIS PRODUCT:This product is meant to remove oxidized hair dye that *USES DEVELOPER (i.e. demi and permanent color) - this is also why it recommends to use diluted 20v when finished with the application/removal. It is not designed to remove direct dye/semi-permanents.Obviously, as with most things, there are some instances in which it WILL work on direct dyes.... Red seems to be a common one. People also complain that it will turn purple/magenta colors blue/green.... This is all going to depend on what the underlying base color of your dye is (i.e. My current purple has a blue base... when I try to remove the purple, it is going to leave me with an underlying blue). If you are using this product as intended by the manufacturer, it absolutely has a lot to offer. I have successfully removed permanent level 2 brown and a variety of permanent reds. It typically will revert your hair back to the level it was before coloring, however this result can vary depending on how many layers of color you have deposited into your hair. As other have mentioned, it may take multiple applications. When rinsing, you should use as warm/hot of water as you can tolerate and shampoo with clarifying shampoo multiple times. When people seem to experience the color reversion (back darker, after it looked a lot lighter)... this is because the product was not washed thoroughly enough out of the hair.
