If it is your first aproaching to the DC Universe, you are a new reader or have some confusion about the crisis, the new 52, DC You and Rebirth, this is a great option to enter into the expanded DC World, but attention: Only if you are new...Beware, if you have the previous volumes you could feel this is not really updated. The book itself is good, but if you expect (like me) a complete upgrade for this edition, that is not the case. (It feels like a really hurry reedition to include 'the dark multiverse' and the Watchmen characters).In summarise the book has very complete descriptions of the newest characters, also the classic ones includes their changes troughout the different moments in the DC Storyline too. All beautifully decorated with current ilustrations.As a final note: if you have the previous volumes please notice this is the first of this kind of encyclopedias that does not have dust jacket o, o (as you could see in the pictures, the format change, including the DK logo), and if it is your first encyclopedia, take a look at the size (in pictures too) compared with TPB and hardcover format.
