Perfect to lift the RV bed
These work perfect for supporting the Queen bed in our RV. I had an issue and the owner of the company called me and talked with me on the phone to get it fixed. That's customer service!

Great Product! Fantastic Customer Service!
Not only are these quality gas struts, their customer service is outstanding. I decided to install these in the RV on a cloudy Saturday when it would be cooler (Phoenix). I had a question regarding the instructions, and left a phone message (and a message via Amazon) expecting to hear from them when they reopened on Monday. Within an hour, the gentleman had returned my call and spent time discussing the best way to install the struts for my situation. He also provided the same information via a response to my Amazon message as well as the updated installation instructions. Fantastic! Thank you.

Works well but instructions could be improved
My application was a partial platform queen bed. The instructions suggested an installation angle of 45 to 50 degrees with a front mounted lower bracket installed 3 inches from the foot of the platform. I had considerable difficulty getting that configuration to work. After making some measurements, I found that the suggested installation angle did not allow sufficient length for the air spring in the fully closed position. With the lower bracket mounted 3 inches from the foot of the platform, I had very little room to move the bracket. So I decided to move the top bracket further back. The resulting angle is more like 30 degrees. The installation instructions put a lot of emphasis on the installation angle but the more important dimension is allowing sufficient length for the closed air spring so I think the instructions could be improved. The kit included all the hardware (screws and bolts) required for installation in addition to the air springs and the swivel brackets. I chose to use my own hardware due to the specifics of my installation. Overall, I consider this a quality product and I am pleased with the result.

Make sure you get the correct kit
We have an 8in memory foam mattress which is very heavy. The Standard Queen set did not keep the bed up. Finally got to customer service & discovered there is a Queen Heavy kit. They said there is a spring exchange program for a fee & free shipping. Their website, while providing all the tech details did not work. The phone # did not work. Ended up buying new springs. I sent polite email pointing out these matters but never heard back. These are reasons for my low rating.UPDATE: Have now installed the heavy springs 120-20 v 80-20 for standard queen. Works beautifully, so now giving a 5

Works great
Instructions are terrible, but product is really good. I have a small box in my rv with what I consider a heavy mattress. We had to install a hasp to hold it down. I ordered the standard one. Could have got by with the lightest one. I would recommend to anyone struggling to hold their bed up.

Gas Spring Install
This was my first gas spring install for beds. It was a learning experience, but it all worked out pretty well. I followed the instructions but I needed to adjust some measurements to match the compartment underneath the full sized queen sized mattress. Ultimately I needed a lid to open 24 inches. I made all adjustments off the 24inch requirement and the instructions provided with the gas springs. The gas spring and bolts were the right fit and are of good quality and durability. The springs handle the weight of the mattress really well without any problems. Opens and closes really well. Worth the purchase.

Works well
This does require two people and some creativity but we installed it perfectly. The instructions note that there may be adjustments necessary if the first position doesn't work but it worked on the first try. We have a traditional mattress in our park model and the mattress is on the heavy side but the shocks work great and hold it up well.

Worked out with adjustments
I followed the instructions for a partial 31"-48", set the bottom bracket 3" from the inside of bed storage and 22" from the overhang and it would only open 15". So I shifted the hatch blocks 3" up towards the overhang and the hatch opened 19". It still closed and opened at an acceptable rate. My hatch hinges were at 48" from the edge of the plywood on top. First pic shows at 15" opening and second pic at 19" opening.

Worked well but make sure you order the right one.
Good design but important to consider the weight of mattress and any topper. I installed it in our 5th wheel trailer according to the instructions but the bed would not stay up. Instructions said to make adjustments in 1" increments. It just required one adjustment to shorten the stroke of the cylinder for the bed to stay up as desired.

A nice addition to my camping trailer
The installation was a little more involved than anticipated as it took 3 tries to get the right balance with the weight of my bed. I’m happy with the final result.

Not for the faint of heart
In my trailer, I had to reinforce the bed frame before completing the install, which I discovered after one of the corners blew out when I was testing the lift kit. I also had to buy better hinges for the door than what came with the trailer. None of this is the fault of this product, I just wanted people to be aware that some prep work may be required to make the install smoother.I thought that the kit’s instructions could have been clearer. If you add up the costs of all the pieces included in it, it comes to well under the price, so you’re really paying for instructions (which is fine).Overall, product works great though.

Easy install. High quality.
Easy install. Quality built parts. Comes with all needed parts. Instructions are clear and easy to understand.

Easy to install
Works great! Had to deviate from the instruction slightly (Suggested angle didn't work for my bed) but it works perfectly. My 10 year old son and I installed it in about 30 min.
