It definitely isn't wood, but still, when your eyes are closed it doesn't really matter. This little cross has proved incredibly powerful in my life. I first stumbled across one in my grandparents' house, still in the packaging. I'll admit that I was skeptical at first, especially since it was not the most beautiful cross I had seen. But upon holding it I could see why these crosses are so popular. Time and time again this cross has helped me, whether or not I'm actually holding on to it. Somehow it has taught me a lot. Even if you don't think of yourself as a Christian or belong to a church, this little token shows you intimately, physically, that God, the Divine, whatever you want to call it, is with you always.

This is the second one of these I bought (the new puppy chewed the first one!) It's a very contorted looking shape yet it fits perfectly (comfortably) in my hand. I got the onyx one first, but like the copper colored one better (shown). A little pricey, but I like it a lot.
