Have used Claude's BBQ Brisket Marinade for years. Works great with 'cheap' cuts of beef and with venison. You can take a cheap roast and put a half cup of Claude's in bottom of square/rectangle pan. Top the roast with another half cup of Claude's, cover with foil and place in a 250 degree (F) oven for 3-5 hours (depending on weight, maybe even 6 hours) and you will have a fork tender roast.

I used to be able to get Claude's brisket marinade from our Albertsons store, but alas Albertson's disappeared years ago. Worth the hassle of ordering online. This stuff is great.
