✅
I like these gloves a lot. They helped me rescue a feral momma cat and her kittens without being harmed. I just wish gloves like this were easier to grip with. I understand they have to be thick, just wish there was a way to improve that!great quality, sturdy gloves though !Happy with this purchase !

Saved me and my cat
Helped me get my very feral cat to the vet - highly recommend. Short version: - I had adopted a very feral kitty who had to be spayed. - After one disastrous attempt to put her in a carrier, during which she bit through leather gloves and took out two people, I decided we needed gloves like these. - After some research, I picked these as they had great reviews but also were more affordable than the others (I needed two pairs.) - Result: we were able to hold her with no blood loss (haha) and get her into the carrier with no injuries to her or us - kitty is now doing very well, perfectly recovered and responding better to socialization. Long Version: I adopted a family of feral cats - two brothers & two sisters, all from the same mother. I was able to socialize all but one cat, Nina, who had 3 kittens of her own who are also living with me. Don't judge. LOL Foster fail big time. Nina eats out of my hand and loves to play, but I absolutely can not touch her at all. The problem was that she was the only one not fixed (spayed). I waited 3 years (pandemic) hoping I would be able to socialize her before getting her spayed, but I realized it wasn't going to happen. So I finally set a date to take her to the vet and just prayed. I had to cancel the first appointment because after giving kitty gabapentin and spending 6 hours trying to get her into a carrier, my BFF who was trying to help me, and I were exhausted and suffering. She bit through a leather gardening glove and right through my nail bed (yes, you read that correctly). She completely tore up my friend's arm and hand. It was swollen and out of commission for almost 2 weeks. So, I bought these prior to the second appointment I made. It still took 4 hours, and a bit more Gabapentin, but we got her in the carrier and to the doctor and no one - including kitty - was injured. She absolutely bit and scratched with all her might but I didn't feel a thing, whereas before, with the leather gardening gloves, the bite was so painful I had to let her go. She is now spayed, recovered, at home and doing beautifully and responding much better to attempts at socialization, as she seems much more relaxed. It was something that was plaguing me for all the years I had her. It was such a failure on my part that I hadn't gotten her spayed. I couldn't use a trap because all the other cats were walking into it. I had no choice but to isolate her in a room and get her into a carrier. Anyway, thanks to these gloves, she is now doing great and many health risks have been reduced as a result of the spaying. The dynamic with the other cats has changed for the better as well, since she is not going into heat every few weeks / months.

It's okay
UPDATE: my dog finally bit me. Turns out the gloves work. ---IGNORE BELOW--- I guess I shoulda read the reviews before buying this. I saw the kevlar and thought it would be like one of those vests the police wear. After trying them on, I knew there's no way it's gonna stop a bite. Might not penetrate, but I'm not about to test that. I need these when grooming my sheepdog. I'd say these are good for stopping clawing and bites from puppies. Also the gloves are pretty big so you lose a bit of manual dexterity when trying to use scissors.

Works Great for a Fiesty Kitten
My kitten is going through the stage of not knowing the difference between playing and a fight to the bitter end lol. I've been using these to wear him out at bed time. He can bite and scratch all he wants and I don't feel a thing! These work great! Very high quality, soft and comfortable. They are a bit big on my hands but that's not an issue. Anyone looking for a way to get their kitten to play hard, grab a pair of these and let them fight it out hahaha.

Better than regular work gloves, but ...
The fingers are pretty small and the gloves themselves are not flexible for gripping a cat. Seems more suitable for falconry.

Real good protection from briars
I bought these gloves to protect my hands and arms from Brir's I'm removing from the yard and a few out of control rose bush's that needs trimed up bad although if I grab to tight one thorn got me but not bad it could have been worse if it wasent for these gloves but I have never had any scratches on my arms due to the sleeves comeing up to my mid elbow but as far as birds of pray I don't have any and dogs I'm not trying to test these cloves out with them but also they work out great moving firewood or anything you would use gloves for even though there thick I find I can still use them to pick small items up due there flexibility in the fingers and I sprayed them with water proffer to make them water resistant also your hands do sweet inside as you work after awhile cause of the thickness and can be dried out with a tall shoe drier if needed if you ware them a long time ( hair drier etc ) but come winter time I have found the gloves to have !

Protects Us When Needed
We had just adopted a new cat and were working through the introduction process with our resident cat. He had started getting a little aggressive, which made it difficult to pick him up when we needed to swap rooms with them. We got these gloves after my husband got a pretty nasty scratch on his forearm. While wearing these gloves, he has tried to bite (he's a biter), as well as rabbit kick. Neither gets through these gloves. I'm really not sure what's going on with the people who have reviewed these badly and posted pictures showing nasty attacks getting through the material. I honestly was hesitant about getting these, because of those reviews, but I'm glad I decided to give them a try. Maybe these gloves aren't good for dealing with bobcats, but for my regular housecats they do just fine. If I were to have a complaint, it's that the finger portion of the gloves do fit a bit tight. We're used to this, as my husband and I both have pretty big hands, so we've had issues with a tight fit on other brands of gloves as well. To be honest, this is a minor complaint, because we're not wearing the gloves long-term. We're just using them to move a ferocious cat from one room to another, and then we take them off. They serve their purpose, seem pretty well made, and were more affordable than other options we were looking at. We're pleased.
