Engaging gateway worker placement game
A very simple worker placement game, but still with enough options to keep it interesting. As you can imagine being a tiny epic game, you get a LOT of game in this tiny box. The meeples, especially the dinosaur ones are absolutely fantastic and the game box's small size makes it perfect for travel. Just beware that although it's good for transporting, the game does need a surprising amount of table space and there are absolutely tiny meeples that you won't want to lose. Overall a really fun game with a cool theme (who doesn't want to catch and breed dinosaurs to fulfil contracts) an excellent introduction to the worker placement genre for newbies and maybe a perfect companion game for dinosaur island!

Fantastic game! I would recommend it to anyone
This game is amazing.Tiny box, so easy to store or take with you on holiday.Wonderful gameplay and re playability.Easy rules to get started but complex strategy once you get to grips with it and start trying to get over over on your opponents.Highly recommended.Playing cards and pieces are beautiful.

Fun tiny epic game
Once you have read the instructions/watched a YouTube video on how to play it's a really fun simpleish game to play. Really cute game pieces. It will involve a lot more tactics and thought, the players who are in the game. I really rate it.

A good game, worth getting
A lot of game for a small box, but after 4 games We're altering the rules.6 rounds and the game is over too quick. We do 8 rounds and it plays much better.

Fun board game in a small package
We love the Gamelyn Games Tiny Epic series and our 8 year old is a huge fan especially of the ITEMeeples and playing with the tiny weapons. We own Tiny Epic Galaxies, Mechs, Quest and now Dinosaurs. Galaxies is a favourite dice based game and has a lot of strategy in a small package, Mechs is a light area control programming game with tiny weapons, Quest is a little more complex with a fantasy theme (and my least favourite rulebook) and Dinosaurs is a charming worker placement game in a small package. We own the heavier game Dinosaur Island which we love but this is really simple to set up and play. Highly recommended and the YouTube how to play video makes it pretty easy. I think that the rule book is also the easiest to follow as well and it doesn't seem to have ny fiddly rules. Recommended and great for travel too.

A lot of game but components lacklustre
Pros: good game play with decent strategy and thinking. Plenty of options to choose in this worker placement game. Component quality is decent but has some serious issues ( see cons). Good game length. Good game depth. Would highly recommend you use the expansion for added strategy.Cons: Could they make the text on the cards any smaller! Serious, I know they like tiny but this is taking it to minuscule. The text on the cards is far too small to see properly without straining the eyes. The dinosaurs are too small and could have easily been made bigger. Although there’s good strategy I felt that there was only one main way to gather most points via contracts. It would have benefited if the standard dinosaurs were worth 1 or 2 points more for good end game strategies.I would recommend getting it if you could handle the poor text size and miniature dinosaurs.
