Pleasantly surprised by the material quality and firmness balance, but unsure about the longevity of "leatherette"
Legit. I love the main wrist rest. I use it with my brand new Ducky Shine 5 mechanical keyboard, and had originally purchased a horrible foam rubber wrist rest that made my palms and wrists sweat unnaturally. This solves that concern, and so far, feels just perfect - right in the middle in terms of softness and firmness like I like it. I'm planning on reordering for my desk at work, and would certainly recommend to colleagues. Sure it's not real leather, but its not a real leather price either, it was cheap and does precisely what it is supposed to do. Maybe I'll upgrade to proper leather from Ducky in the future, but for now I'll save the $45 bucks and stick with this. It comes with two thin wrist-rest covers (I think thats what they are) and the main keyboard rest itself in the box, not bad. If you're looking for something like me that keeps the wrists cool and free of distracting sweat and itches, look no further.I don't know how long it will last but will certainly update my review if things go downhill quick. So far, after a couple weeks of moderate use (ruby and javascripting away), not a scratch or sign of wear. I hope to get a year or so out of it, fingers crossed.Knocking off a star for the two weird wrist rest "pads" that come with it. If you are expecting something thicker here like I was, think again. These look like leather patches that belong on a crappy sport coat from the 60's, rather than the wrist-rests for your portable. Toss em, or stick them on the back of someone you don't like. Better than attaching them to something you are going to be seen with in public, lol.The final verdict: Buy this if you want something that will support your wrists and keep them cool which I like, skip the foam rubber solutions that are out there. I am very pleased with this wrist rest, but would kind of prefer it more if it didn't come with the two leatherette patches (they kind of devalue the thing as a whole for me). Smooth sailing so far.

Basically useless as it slides around
As another reviewer mentioned, this slides all over the place. The top is much stickier than the bottom. The very soft foam doesn't add weight like a typical gel pad, so I found this sticking to me more than my desk. This, combined with the fact that mine was warped convex (with the ends up), it would literally spin around like a top. To say this could even be used for gaming is a joke. Generally well-sewn together, though, and cheap if you wanted to waste your time trying to secure it down. It does come with two extra grip pads which are similarly useless. I tried various things to make it stay in place, and finally gave up. My desktop is smooth Formica, and I have used Fellows and 3M, and the backing is excellent. Those others don't move.

Tech Analyst Usage
The PU leather surface is good quality, and the stitching around the edges is solid. The rest as a whole feels cheap though. The "non-slip" textured rigid PU leather base is awful. I could slide this across my cubical desk with my pinky finger. It actually works better if you flip it over. The printing PU leather works better than the base material. It isn't the most comfortable, and I doubt it will last. It feel as if that put a foam pillow on the inside with a handful of cotton balls to round it out. I returned the item within a day. I purchased this to use with my Logitech K400. It is the perfect size, and I wish it was of better quality. I would not suggest buying this item.

Cute and comfy !
It was hard to take pictures with it with the actual color showing. It's actually kinda more on the bubble gum pink side of color than pale pink like the picture. It's very comfy and despite the kinda leather feel to it, it doesn't stick to my skin when I rest on it for a while. It comes with the two non-slip pads, but in my opinion you don't even need to use them ! It even matches my new keyboard and mouse perfectly !

I like the product
Overall, I like the product. Feels comfortable underneath my wrist. My only concern is a depression over time as I feel like the material inside won't last long after prolong use. Additionally, I use a polyster fiber rest pad at work and so the synthetic leather gets some getting used to.

Best one ive ever used. Solidly built. Just bought more.
Solidly built and helping my developing carpel tunnel at work. They are short, which is good for using two if them, one for each hand. The leather and stiching is holding up to constant daily use too, unlike all the previous gel or foam types I've bought. Time to order some for home as well as work, since the old gel pad has fallen apart and these I've come to really like.Edit: I've bought two more to replace my home wristpads too.

Attractive and Compact
These wrist rests are great! I recently bought a 60% sized mechanical keyboard (aka function key-less & ten key-less) and was looking for something small enough that wouldn't take up too much space and not be some piece of rubber. These fit the bill--the rest itself is made of a nice faux leather with sturdy stitching, attractive and feels nice when I use it. All in all, these are great and you can't beat the price. I love the pink (the one I got) and I'm very happy to have purchased this one over all the others on Amazon.

It did the trick.
It did the trick. I had been having tingling in my fingers and decided it was time to get my wrists some help. This has fixed the problem. Good quality. The stitching of the material is quality. This is NOT a cheap plastic that comes apart at the seam. They actually sewed this and it's good.
