Whittardof Chelsea Darjeeling Loose Tea 100 g

Ultimate Civilisation in a Cup
Already reviewed the caddy version of this tea, but have to leap to its defence again as I couldn't bear seeing it being given 3 stars. This tea is the absolute tops! If you find it a bit weak, fellow tea drinker, just brew it longer! Unlike cheap imitations, this stuff never gets bitter. I brew it for 10 minutes without any problem.Plus, remember, don't add milk. It kills the flavour.

Three Stars
Not very strong. Usually drink fortnum and mason Darjeeling which has a lot more flavour. Won't buy again.

Five Stars
This product met all my expectations. Why doesn't Whittards of Chelsea have an outlet in or near Felixstowe?

Good quality Darjeeling
Has plenty of body for a Darjeeling - I use a moderately heaped teaspoonful for a mug, add water just off the boil and brew for 4 minutes - and nice muscatel note. Better than several other loose-leaf Darjeelings I've bought recently. You can re-use the leaves for a second cup and still get plenty of flavour.
