Super sturdy and excellent quality
I actually sawed mine into 2 separate risers and it worked perfectly for shallower placement. Now don't have to dig them up when access is needed. Easy to work with and standard fit to septic tank.

Very easy and effective for DIYers
If you can dig up your septic tank's lids, apply some goo, and mix up a small batch of concrete, you can handle this. Roofing asphalt in a caulking tube is required to seal between this and the ring that actually goes onto the septic tank. Then you apply a goodly amount of this goo to the bottom of the ring before sticking it down Concrete screws really aren't needed, but you can use them if you like. I noticed that with asphalt, there's a chance of tree roots finding their way through all that and into the septic tank. To fix that, I'll be digging up my risers and exposing the concrete tank again. Then I'll seal up any gaps I missed and pour over that some concrete to a few inches away from the interface between the adapter ring and the tank itself. These parts are full of waffle-like protrusions that provide lots of places for soil or concrete to grab onto. So, count on adding concrete to the outside to make good and sure that no roots will get in. Two bags of concrete should be enough.

Good product
If you don’t want to spend $500 on this but expect quality, here you go. The only thing is getting all you need delivered. Other items that go with this got easily cancelled and you can’t finish your project.

Save time and money when you have your septic tank pumped
We use these risers in our septic business. They're strong and very durable. Lids are sold separately. The combination makes it easy to access your septic tank when it's time for pumping. Make sure you measure your tank access and purchase the correct size. This is an exceptional value for the money when you think about how much you could be charged to uncover your tank.

RISER TO THE OCCASSION
This is solid plastic. It fit right in the hole, over the septic lid and will, hopefully, save me from digging. I only wish someone had told me about this when we first moved in.

Well built and saves a lot of work in the future. Allows easy access
I just received this Riser yesterday, Dug up my septic lid and found that the lid on the septic tank was right on the edge of the tank which means that the riser adapter would not have worked which in my view is over priced anyway. I,m Glad that I did not purchase it. The I will use Butyl rope to attach the thin edge of the riser to the other sides of the tank, but if it does not hold I live in Arizona and we do not get that much rain anyway but even if it did how is a little extra. of water going to effect the tanks operation when we take showers any way. I am just going to use silicone caulking just in case between the two risers even though there is a lip that will also help to keep water out between them, than put in the stainless steel screes to keep it together. Make sure you put the risers upright so that if you do use the adapter it fits right, the lid will fit on either side but fits better when it is in the upright position. They say that the top is just like it is shown on the picture but there are some differences just enough to make you wonder. The Top edge has a longer lip than the bottom. and you can see the screw holes from the top but not from the bottom. make sure they are lined up with the riser beneath before putting in the screws. I think these thinks are over priced butt that is probably because of shipping cost to ship them, But on the other hand well worth it when you consider not having to dig them up every time you need them cleaned out.

Just what I needed and fit like a glove!
True it has no screws but I have no idea how they would ship it with them. This thing is big. Installed it quickly and easily after buying two inch stainless steel screws at a local hardware store. Fit like a dream with what was installed over 20 years ago.
