There are lots of reviews on YouTube and Amazon regarding Matt screen protectors. For and against.Installation: easy enough, the instructions have a link to a YouTube video which I followed and took my time. The screen protector fitted well and was perfect size. I had no air bubbles.Anti glare. Definitely less glare than the tempered glass protector I had on before. Also less than the bare iPad screen. Very similar to difference between some TVs that have a Matt finish and some that have a gloss finish.Effect on image: there is a slight blurring of the screen but you have to look really hard to see it. I actually feel it softens the image a tiny amount which seems nicer.Feel of screen: the screen feels a bit rougher as you would expect, but it feels nicer really. Not as slippery.Apple Pencil: works fine with the screen protector on. A bit easier then the bare screen or tempered glass protector.Overall: a good screen protector and worth trying as it might not be to everyone’s taste. But definitely worth giving it a go.

The item comes nicely packaged with all the little bits you need to apply the screen protector including a screen wipe, buffing cloth (similar to ones for glasses cleaning) and dust removal sticker. On top of that it also comes with a little sticky block to help keep your tablet/iPad in place, a scraper with a cushioned edge and a couple of stickers to act as hinges for applying the screen protector. I was quite impressed to be honest.The one thing I will say is definitely read the instructions!I've seen a review on here that says the dust removal sticker left a residue but that was not something I experienced. I did a few air bubbles but it was ENTIRELY my own fault. I had the tiniest bit of dust near the edge and rather than leaving it I lifted the protector back up and that just caused more dust to get stuck. Used the sticky dust remover to get rid of the worst of it but a few small bubbles remain.The quality is good, makes writing on the iPad much neater and very anti glare. I've noticed a very small reduction in the screen sensitivity to touch but it's barely noticeable and to be expected with a thicker screen protector. Apple pencil responds very nicely.

I don't normally leave product reviews but this was a purchase I was a little worried about at first but once delivered and applied I completely love it!Because it's matte, it does degrade screen clarity a little - this was totally expected due to the nature of the product and something I know all matte screen protectors affect. I primarily use my iPad for artwork, note taking and viewing videos and to me personally the slight loss of crispness is well worth the benefits if you're someone who writes/draws with your iPad a lot - if you don't use an Apple Pencil very much or at all, I'd go with the non-matte alternatives.Particularly for artwork, the texture (and very slight sound) of the matte protector was extremely satisfying to draw on and as someone who hasn't used a matte protector before I found it really helped stabilise my lines in a way that drawing with plastic on glass doesn't. The texture doesn't cause too much drag on the pencil, just enough to give a slight resistance which is perfect for me.When it comes to application, I was really worried because you only get one protector in the pack so only one chance to get it right. The application video they provide is excellent and you get a good complete set of tools to help with the job which made the whole thing a lot easier and I managed to get it on first time with no air bubbles! I really suggest taking your time with it, clean the screen thoroughly with what you're given and go slowly. The whole process took me about 30 minutes (it could be done in way less time and I probably went overboard just because I was worried it would go horribly wrong!)I rated it 4* because in comparison to some alternatives out there it is quite expensive when considering you only get one protector in the pack, but overall very pleased with the purchase!

Brilliant product for students. I brought this when I purchased the iPad Air 4. The main use of my iPad was going to be taking notes as I wanted to be able to keep all of my student nursing notes in one place for easy access so a paper feel screen protector was a must. The screen protector come in good packaging and quickly. Although it doesn’t feel exactly like paper it adds enough friction to the screen that makes writing that little bit easier and more comfortable. also writing on a screen protector and not paper does takes some getting used to, but it’s doesn’t take long to adjust. The display is effected some what but again it’s easy to get used to and when watching a video or film you really cannot tell the difference as the only issue is when the screen is displaying white. I ended up changing my iPad to dark mode and then you can barely notice the difference in screen quality. The screen protector is easy to fit! However I have had to buy a second one as some bubbles and a few specs of dust where trapped under the screen, even after being as careful as possible to keep the screen clean. Even my usual trick of ignoring the bubbles for a few days and waiting until they slowly disappear on their own didn’t work. I’m sure, however, that the bubbles under the screen was due to issues involving me and not the screen protector and I will be more careful the second time around!
