Compatible with all major antifreeze types, it ensures optimal coolant flow and engine temperature control, making it a must-have for high-performance and everyday vehicles alike. ## Description Purple Ice is a high performance, synthetic, radiator coolant additive. It reduces engine heat by reducing the surface tension of the radiator fluids for improved heat transfer. Purple Ice fosters optimum coolant flow by helping to prevent formation of scale deposits in the radiator. It also lubricates the water pump seals. Purple Ice should always be used in conjunction with antifreeze in regions where freezing temperatures occur. Purple Ice is recommended for any water/glycol pressurized cooling system, including those using the traditional green silicate based glycols or the newer OAT or HOAT based glycols. ## Features - It is a high performance, synthetic, radiator coolant additive - It reduces engine heat by reducing the surface tension of the radiator fluids for improved heat transfer - Purple Ice fosters optimum coolant flow by helping to prevent formation of scale deposits in the radiator ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000BRGAJ2 | | Assembly Required | No | | Best Sellers Rank | #167,609 in Car & Motorbike ( See Top 100 in Car & Motorbike ) #166 in Engine Oil Additives | | Brand | Royal Purple | | Country of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (1,859) | | Date First Available | 8 August 2012 | | Exterior | smooth | | Item Dimensions LxWxH | 9.5 x 2.9 x 19.1 Centimeters | | Item Weight | 363 g | | Item model number | ROY01600 | | Manufacturer Part Number | 01600 | | OEM Part Number | 01600 | | Outer Material | synthetic | | Position | Center | | Product Dimensions | 9.53 x 2.9 x 19.05 cm; 362.87 g | | Voltage | 12 Volts | | Volume | 783.8 Cubic Inches | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Royal Purple - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00641330016004 - **Item Weight:** 0.8 Pounds - **Liquid Volume:** 1 Quarts - **Manufacturer:** Royal Purple ## Images ![Royal Purple 01600 Purple Ice Super-Coolant Radiator Additive - 12 oz. - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41VeXvp4KkL.jpg) ![Royal Purple 01600 Purple Ice Super-Coolant Radiator Additive - 12 oz. - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71pPLJPYeHL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: how about a cadi norhtstar engine?** A: Yes.
