These cloths are large, and you can easily use both sides so that's a lot of surface area. The white cloth has something in it to help remove grime and build up while the gray buffs and polishes. I have several pieces of jewelry, some sterling silver, white gold, and platinum. This restored the luster of my pieces, some to a mirror like shine! You can easily see the difference in my dream catcher necklace that's sterling silver since I only did one half of it for comparison. The cloths are thick and feel very durable. None of my pieces were scratched or damaged from the cloths either. This was a great purchase!
