Great
Everything I wanted and more, works perfectly and was so fun on our trip. The price is completely worth it and I’m so happy I won’t have to spend as much money on film as if I got a different camera. Got it wet on accident a few times and the camera stayed in perfect condition. And not to mention the camera itself is so cute and I’m so happy with it.

Doesn’t come with all items!
This product is awful. Didn’t come with half of the items. No cord no no case. I only gave it 5 stars so you would see it.

The good, the bad, the ugly
The good…. Great picture quality via the phone/app. Good, not great, picture quality via the built in camera. Easy to use. Fun, interesting technology in a nice package. Low cost pics. The bad…. No on device storage. So… Can not take and save multiple pictures to be printed later After printing, the digital image is gone when you take the next pic. This is a take a pic, print the pic, and wait 2 minutes before next pic can be taken. This is a major design flaw. On device storage is a no brainer to maximize the utility value of the device. Of course if it is just used with the app as a printer from pics in the gallery of your phone, then as a printer it is okay, if a bit slow. BUT…. This device is a camera / printer and no storage devalues the camera functionality enormously. The ugly…. While printing pic 7 in a cartridge, on pass #2 in the printing procees, the paper jammed. A note appeared on the app. “ Paper jammed. Remove print cartridge. If it cannot be removed, contact customer service”. I got the cartridge out. But the print and remaing pappers were destroyed so papers were wasted. I hope that is not a chronic problem because it can wastes a lot of papers. So in summary… I like the device on balance, but it seems like it is a work in process with room for improvements and reliability.

WORKS! 🤗
I was so skeptical, reading reviews, seeing photos of reviewers photos 😆, yet I decided to get it anyway! SO Happy 😁 with this camera/printer! Way better than the other brand out there. We are so used to hi-def images these days that we've forgotten that "instant photos" of old, and now new, didn't and don't measure up to professional grade photo development or film. BUT, they're very good as long as you FOLLOW DIRECTIONS, don't have outdated or poorly stored film, and have reasonable lighting. So I'm rating this accordingly.Love the fact that you can print your phone 📱 photos too! They actually turn out a bit better. So a suggestion; take a picture with your phone 📱, and print it from this Kodak printer via their easy App! Now you have a memory IN 👏 hand, and not lost in the thousands of phone 📱 photos and forgotten.DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! 🙏👍💯

Pictures are so good
This printer is not fast, as it does the four pass print. But the photos come out so good. I also have another brand mini photo printer and the quality of the Kodak is so much better. The only problem I have is the battery drains so fast, like after just a few printings. And the on switch takes several attempts to finally turn on, you have to hold your tongue a certain way I think 🤔. I've had an older models of this printer and never had either of these problems with them. Still, I prefer the prints from this printer over the other brand I have by far. And the app you download to use it is super user friendly and allows for editing, frames, collages and more.

The farsighted need not apply.
I haven't rated PICTURE nor PRINT quality yet because I find I shall have to devote some undivided attention & time to figuring this thing out. There are instructions; however, they are printed so small I must use a magnifying glass to read them accurately (I usually do not even need reading glasses). The instruction sheet is big, promising lots of detailed, step-by-step directions such as "how" to charge the unit instead of just "charge" it. The instruction sheet is all accordian-folded and about a yard long so I thought there would be many, many explanations, each step with a whole bunch of sub-steps. But no. Each folded rectangle displayed the same cryptic instructions but in a different language, some from countries I had never heard of and which would probably change with the next international upheaval. The little gift items were cute & more unnecessary than the teeny-tiny plastic "toys" in a Cracker Jack box.The closer for me was the indication that I would have to attach my Kodak point-and-shoot (which isn't in any way a point-and-shoot) to some Ap, WiFi or Blue Thing, a surprise to me because I hadn't been prepared, to my knowledge, for another functional item needed to get the Kodak Mini Shot Retro to work for me.I shall take a day or so to work with it & perhaps discern its ways so I might be able to use it to point & shoot my grandchildren. Or I might send it back.I don't think Kodak should call something "Retro" if they are going to make it impossible for actual retro people to read the instructions with just their reading glasses nor get it ready to shoot it after pointing it. Retro products should be manageable by Retro persons; especially because those Retros are the only ones who remember when Kodak was really point-and-shootALL RETRO PEOPLE, LISTEN UP: DON'T BUY THIS CAMERA UNLESS YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY OPERATED COMPLICATED CAMERAS SINCE THAT WAY-BACK TIME YOU HAPPILY TOOK PICTURES OF YOUR GREAT-GRANDKIDS WITH YOUR BROWNIES. This thing isn't that.
