PICS attached are with the gate in the downward position. I bought this as a replacement for a crib called (The Lov) "Millennium Crib & Bed" Model No. 4822 from DELTA ENTERPRISE CORP bought back in 2000, 25 years ago. The original plastic brackets/slides were dry rotted when we pulled it out the attic. When I received the new parts, and put it together, I wasn't sure which pieces went where because there is no instructions or vids. Found a comment from buyer that the spring pieces go on top. Had to heat up the "L" bracket pieces that fasten to the gate because the diameter of the wood gate was a little too wide to accept the new brackets but may not be the case with yours. Had to drill 1/8" new holes to support the new brackets but not a big deal, anyone should and can be able to do this. I LOVE this retrofit. I attached photos to show the installation for anyone that need a nudge. Baby Crib is RESTORED!!!

so far, it works. the other reviews are helpful for assembling! was able to get it all put together with no issues other than (like other reviews) having to heat up the pieces to get them to fit on the gate part.
