Very fun game!
Everyone loves this game. Takes about 5 minutes to play. Easy setup and fun for all ages. I don’t think I would pay the full price but bought it for about $8 and it was definitely worth it.

Fish Club Appeals To A Wide Age Range
I love games that appeal to a wide age range. Even though Fish Club is recommended for 5+ (probably because the playing pieces are small), our three year old has no trouble playing the game along with her older siblings, who vary in age from five through eight. Best of all, everyone enjoys this easy-to-understand, no battery operated game. Rules are simple—two players take turns trying to group five of their colored fish together in the aquarium. Kids take turns plunking their pieces through the thin aquarium opening (Connect Four style), but outcomes are not as predictable as you'd expect. Players can muck up matching plans even further by adding yellow pieces into the mix. That color doesn’t really belong to either player, but when played, they do change the whole aquarium set-up.Games are fast and fun, and I like that all pieces easily store back into the aquarium (and box) when play time is done. The game is impartial—our youngest wins just as frequently as our oldest, and that makes for happy kids. Fish Club requires no reading or special skills to play.

Super easy and super fun...
My kids currently range in ages from 6 - 11, and they all still love playing this game. It's a mix of connect-four with the randomness of something like Plinko thrown in. The key is to match five of your fish and have them connect by touching. You'd think this is simple enough, but the construction of the fish causes them to land in random ways and bounce around in their "tank." There's enough chance thrown in to see my 6yo beat my 11yo, but enough variety to have all of us interested when we're playing a tournament against each other. The decals fail over time, but because each fish is a solid color, you can do without or paint your own faces on them. This has been a fun and outstanding family game.

Can’t recommend highly enough.
I am a huge fan of Blue Orange games. I already use Shaky Manor, Go Gelato and Dr. Eureka. They are fun, educational and frequently requested during my occupational therapy sessions. While there are some similarities to the ever popular game Connect Four, Fish Club enhances the same fine/perceptual skills in its own unique way. The game is simple to learn and visually appealing to look at. The two color of fish are placed through a thin opening in order to land arbitrarily in a colorful aquarium. Children develop both eye-hand coordination and fine motor dexterity, if they hold more than one fish in their hand to drop. The objective…..You are looking to connect 5 of the same color fish together. There are other aquatic pieces that each player can use to block the configuration of fish and make it more difficult to win. Visual perceptual skills are enhanced in such an entertaining way as you scan the aquarium looking for five in a row. Perfect for ages 4 to 8 …...however, I find myself playing with my 26 year old daughter. Can’t recommend highly enough and do check out the other games from Blue Orange.

Fun Game
This game is pretty fun and teaches a few different key life lessons. The fish bounce as they land so they do not always land right where you want - so for my kids life lesson number one - you don't always get what you want! From there you will try to match your fish by connecting five of them in a row, but watch out a starfish, clam, small fish or seahorses could divide your fish!My kids had fun playing this and played a few rounds together before an argument broke out.The game is really a game of luck and a bit of strategy. Since the fish never land exactly where you expect you don't know what the exact outcome will be when you drop it ( like connect four it goes exactly where you think it will.

connect four with a twist
yes and no. Too easy for my 6 yo and too difficult for my 3yo. Not difficult to "win" though checking for true win when there's a yellow something trying to disconnect the blue or red was confusing leaving it some room for kiddo to argue. For now it's just me playing with my 6yo and he really likes it. I thought it's ok as in being a very fast paced game and only allows 2 player. If you are happy with spending less than 10 mins over and over playing this I guess it's great (but kids do that right?) Not much excitement, very straight forward game. Item can be stored in a ziplock and I thought it's over packaged just FTI.
