but, it failed to live up to even the most basic tasks!First, the package looked like it had been opened and repacked, but since the blades looked unused I decided to keep it (I probably should have sent it back then and there!).The first time I used the spiralizer, I used a firm white zucchini with the spaghetti blade, but it came out like stringy mash. Then, I tried the fettuccini blade. First, the peel jammed up the upper part of the blade. Then, the squash came out flat and mushy from the lower part of the blade. I had a pile of "glop" on my cutting board. I then tried a firm green zucchini and had the same results as before. And, make no mistake about it, it really takes a lot of effort to turn the zucchini.As for using he end cap, as soon as I started to use it to finish off the last part, it split the zucchini into pieces and rendered the rest of the vegetable useless.Cleanup is also a pain as the peel gets stuck in the blades so they have to be removed and cleaned with the small brush included in the kit. The blades are quite sharp and must be removed very carefully, no small task given the poor quality of the plastic housing. I already cut my finger while taking out one of the blades.Bottom line, I will look for a different gadget to properly spiralize my zoodles. I might even invest in a proper mandoline at this point.Don't waste your money on this one, even if it's on sale!

This did the trick, but I’d buy a nicer one if you want to use it a lot. It’s really hard to clean even though it comes with tools to clean it with. No problems with shipping or product- it is as described- but I think I should have bought a nicer one. This one is sort of a use every once in a while thing and I need an everyday tough one that’s easier to clean. I need a magnifying glass to see bits of veggies left inside here and I don’t think it’s dishwasher safe. But product is as described and shipped well.

I was really interested in trying a gadget like this. However, it was very disappointing to take it out of the wrapper (it just came in a plastic bag that seemed to have been open before), and see the main accessory come apart. Very cheaply made.

Had no idea what a vegetable spiral slicer was, but I got this anyways to find out. I've been "spiraling" carrots and other veggies since. Very simple to use, clean, and apply to cooking. Would recommend to start easily adding veggies into the diet.

I like the doodle spiral cutter, but the directions are a bit confusing. I made zucchini noodles and it worked just like I expected!

Absolutely a great buy!! So happy with it. It's so easy to use and store. We've been eating healthier and this allows us to make veggie noodles, and peel veggies so much faster.
