I have only had the belt for about a month, but so far it shows no signs of wear and is working out fine. I really like the ratchet mechanism! The adjustment is easy to make, and removal is also easy. It is a very nice looking belt, and the material seems to be high quality. I did read a review of someone who broke the ratchet mechanism and could not remove the belt in an "urgent" situation. Now, that would be a real problem! But, as I said, so far, so good. I personally would prefer a narrower version of the belt. It is wide, but it does fit through all my belt loops. I have shortened the belt a couple of times. That is a really nice thing to be able to do.

I've had this belt right at 6 months. This is a really nice belt out of the box. The white is clean and goes well with my golf pants and the ratchet system is awesome. I don't recall having any slippage once it's set. The convenience of the ratchet system is second to none. The one thing I have to take some stars off for is the cracking. After about 2 months I started noticing it and now at 6 months it's way more prevalent. I have another one of these belts in brown and it has shown no signs of cracking yet. I wonder if its something with the white. Overall this is a good belt, but it could be great. I have a brown version and that one is 5 stars. No cracking at all and I wear it more often for work.
