Wok Pan 12.5", Stir Fry Pan with Lid, Gloves & Cookware Accessories, Carbon Steel, Suitable for All Stoves (Flat Bottom)

When i purchased this wok, I was so excited, but after the first wash apparently had a defect in the nitride layer but after talking with the helpful customer service they offered to send a replacement since the original wok had a defect. It is a well Constructed piece of equipment. Sturdy handle, the tools that came with it were wonderful and I loved the wooden lid. Packaging was on point and found no fault in the overall construction of the wok aside from the layer

This wok is bigger and heavier than I expected. I'm 70 years and arthritic so ease of handling it is a huge factor. As I said, it's heavier than I expected but it's also well balanced with makes it easier to handle. It's big enough to hold a good size load and deep enough to allow easy stirring. My only suggestion is, follow the directions to the letter on when you season it. It recommends using Sunflower oil and so that's exactly what I bought. Reason for that is sunflower oil has a high smoking rate so your pan will be able to get hotter during the process. I'm tickled with it and looking forward to many good dinners.

Good wok for Asian cuisine. Need a lot of oil to season it but it worth it. The work can conduct the heal pretty fast and can save a lot of gas when cooking (compared to my nonstick pan). It might require somehow more oil when cooking otherwise it's still sticky if you failed to control the heating temperature.However, the lid has a strong smell of wood and glue. once washed, the lid will store water inside it. When you used a washed lid to cover the steaming water, the water inside the lid will drop with bronde color, which is a disaster.Also, the wok is heavier than the pan and requires some strength if you want to stir-fry quickly. And the edge of the wok is pretty sharp and can scratch your finger if operate uncarefully.Overall, the work itself worth the price if you love Asian cuisine, fast heat or wok hei. The lid is not good and lifting the work requires some strength.

For the price this Wok is great. We’re 13+ months in and the family uses this about 2-3 times a week. Easy to clean. The handle started to come loose but a screwdriver fixes it.

Nice quality. Easy to season. Heats fast, cools fast. Just an all around great choice for a wok. No complaints.

Well made, light weight,so easy to use. I was amazed how well packaged everything was, anda useful tote bag to boot! The rich wooden handle comes in its own air bubble tube to prevent any damage to it. The wooden cookware is rich and well made as well and its own lofa sponge! The stepped wooden lid is well made as well, no rough spots or chips. The removable handle is easy to put on and take off, allowing the wok to be used in the oven upto 450 deg. Seasoning is easy, and step by step instructions are included and easy to follow. I would suggest that you treat the wooden lid and utensils as you would any fine wooden kitchenware. Just rub a little food grade mineral oil or wood care oil on before using and as needed after. The last picture shows the last paper towel from the seasoning process. A little black is OK! Store your wok up side down to prevent any moisture build up that could cause rusting. This IS steel and like cast iron needs protection from moisture. Reseason as needed. The more you use it, the better the non stick gets. It is NOT treated with any non stick coating, so no icky stuff in your food! I am more than happy I chose THIS wok. I love it, and you will too! First off, it WILL rust....they say in the description that it's an IRON wok but then they say it's carbon steel...newsflash carbon steel and iron are NOT the same thing. The coating on the pan rubs off incredibly easy and didn't last after 2 uses, there's now bare silver steel showing. We used wood or plastic cooking utensils and yes it rubbed off THAT easy. Whatever the dark coating is on this pan it rubs off with a towel..I have NO clue how this pan got so high reviews because it's frankly cheaply made junk that we literally got two uses out of before i threw it in the garbage due to the coating peeling off. I'm NOT eating whatever that coating is.

When the box arrived I was worried that wok was going to be too small but once I opened it it truly is a good size. Neither of my boxes were damaged and there was a lot of safety wrap around the items so I think the manufacturer sent a damaged item. The scratch on the lid is ugly and splintering. Hopefully my replacement will be better. The assembly was very easy (just screw on the handle) and the pot is very sturdy. I’m excited to use it.

It's on the heavier side for sure but it looks and works great. It does warp a bit a tiny bit under heat - electric stove - but not bad enough to affect cooking. It looks great too. Really pleased with this wok.

Looks good and Cooks good.(Definitely would recommend this and looks aesthetically pleasing).

£65 crap. I bought this because it supposed to be compatible with induction hob. I couldn’t even season it . The wok deformed as soon as it gets some heat and the bottom hardly catches any heat.After long time at the cooker I managed to get it oiled. After first meal preparation everything burned to the bottom. I let it cool down, washed with provided sponge and look at those shiny metal patches … 🤬

Can be dismantled. Comes with variety of accessories. And the food just tastes better.

Nice wok design. Looks great. Still need to cook with it. My lid came broken so I will have to request a new one.
