Excellent book, far better than any I've found published more recently. Interesting, well written texts chosen and more challenging, less linear questions.

This book is great for short bursts of revision with Year 4/5 students. The comprehensions are quite straightforward with less inference and deduction than you may want however give children exposure to a lovely mix of texts to decode. The word activities on the each page are fantastic and help stretch and enrich their vocabulary whilst being short enough to not be boring. I would love more of these to be produced!
